Great weather on the day. Had a great ride in AL. Some traffic issues before peacanwood and some rough road surface around the rural area. Otherwise a great day of racing after lockdown.

Had a weird failure last night. While racing, the power indication/cadence and HR just froze at one value. I attempted to pair the trainer and hr monitor again, but still remained frozen. Only fix was to switch off my trainer and restart it. Then paired again and I could continue the race (4 minutes lost in total). First time this happened. Tacx flux S running zwift on Ipad.

The 4 week ftp booster is good imo. For some quick pain, do the cape epic workouts by Annika langvad

I was under the impression that all prizes were lucky draws, with everyone in with a chance of winning. I do not see the point in some pro cyclists winning a pair of oakleys for the fastest strava segment time. Just my 2c. Maybe I read the t&c wrong on the initial adds.

Geez, and I thought the GX eagle wear was bad at around 2500km to 0.75 wear mark. Will definitely stay clear of the kmc 12 speed. I am using the kmc x11 on my road bike, with quite “normal wear” though.

My iphone 7 is also begging for an upgrade...Battery needs charging at least twice a day. Should I go for the SE or wait and see if 11 prices drop when 12 is released? What is the anticipated price for the "cheaper/smaller" 12? Also contemplated trying a samsung galaxy S10/20, just to have ANT+ to use on zwift. Decisions decisions...

Great stage yesterday! Sad about Meintjes. I was hopeful seeing his performance on the virtual climbs earlier this year. This shows that following Jumbo Visma up a real climb hurts more than the Alpe du Zwift. Today will be interesting.

I have been using the wahoo elemnt bolt for 2 years now. Extremely easy to set up using only the phone app. A nice feature is that you can change/modify the unit display while you are riding, as it updates immediately. The LED feature is nice and the zoom function allows you to focus on specific measurements as needed. Battery life is good, after 2 years I still get around 20-24 hours of life/recording from a single charge. The navigation is also useful, although not fully turn by turn, the breadcrumb navigation is quite accurate. I have used the normal navigation on many occasions in new territories, just select a destination on your phone app and the unit will navigate you there. Awesome product with no issues at all. Wahoo aftersale service is top notch in SA if required. I can definitely recommend the unit.
