  1. The "dog forcing a dump" look is still making waves.
  2. Still have a team in the DH WC. I think that ones the least ugly Pole. I would ride it. Something about that hewn from a solid lump of metal vibe...
  3. I don't disagree but I think it is different for everyone. Greg effectively got a top 30 finish. Much younger riders crashed out too. He's hoping to depart on a high which adds some pressure. I'm hoping this is just a minor hiccup on the way to a great season
  4. The rest of you Fugly Bikes might as well go home. Ellsworth has entered the room and is holding all your beers.
  5. That was probably the best version of the FW track ever. Fast and slow bits blended together. How was BK's semis crash?!? Greg needs to get on top of his game - that was a silly crash and very disappointing after the "not Done Yet" hype. He did manage to get 32 points though. The lack of Cedric on commentary brought a smile to my dial. Gwin was great backing up bergie Ric. New venue in Poland on the 17th. Should be fun.
  6. It's purely a coincidence both bikes Ive hated are eBikes. Promise.😁
  7. I quite like that bike. Would not like to own it but the clean lines do appeal to me.
  8. The new coverage is a bit weird. The Whoop UCI insta is full of promos for the Jr racing but the Staylive coverage only has the elite advertised. I suspect that the Jr and qualifying may well be live on YouTube, but they are doing their best not to put that out there.
  9. This is surely one of the ugliest bikes out there? Or perhaps you disagree? Go wild.
  10. Wow, you poured cold water on that interaction 🙂
  11. Maybe the era of every brand trying to be Guchi or Jimmy Choo - i.e you pay for the name not what you're actually getting, is drawing to a close?
  12. Love the commentators who are late to the party, presumably because they're checking their grammar on chatGPT, and miss the point or humor in a comment they select to ridicule. It like make me lol
  13. I can confirm that the brake hoods are good quality and fitted the levers perfectly. They also survived my blunt force fitment procedure without tearing.
  14. Yep. I think I'll only use it for stuff I cant find here easily or at all. Its good to know they deliver and so far the quality seems reasonable.
  15. Just got delivery of my Shimano 5600 bracket covers ( not available here) and an Eroica cycling cap, for fun. Total cost delivered was about R365. The covers say Shimano and appear to be good quality and the correct fit for the levers I have.
  16. Ordered some roadie bracket covers and one of those weird roadie peaked caps - total about R300 and a bit. Was asked to pay R62 for vat and duty. Still waiting after about two weeks although an email from a courier claims by the 24th.
  17. That non-tech track provided some of the best racing we've ever been treated to. They need to dumb down all the other tracks and add 20 jumps 🙂 Rename it BMXCO ... Seriously though, great track and great efforts from the racers who displayed big engines and superb skills and style. Maybe need to call it DCXCO?
  18. Don't have the time to go back and read it all. Had to ride my bike!
  19. I'd say complex features and speed make it a technical course.id love to know what your definition of technical is if this isn't.
  20. U23 mens and women's on Youtjoop today at 1525 and later for the men's.
  21. This looks like a properly fun track. Check out the Pivot team track walk and ride videos.
  22. If you're just riding jeep track and decent gravel roads, a HT is just fine. If its a bit rougher you will need to get used to it but a fat rear tyre (2.4 on up) is a good idea. I run a 26" enduro HT at Tokai sometimes and have also fitted an insert at the rear (Nukeproof). This combo makes a big difference to the felt impacts of rough terrain,
