  1. Think he means 35mm long with a 35mm bar clamp diameter
  2. This was helpful, thank you 👍
  3. The "total capacity" and how it works to affect things, I know GS is a short cage and SGS is long cage, but what does that do, because both have the same maximum and minimum for the rear cassette, and both can have a 22T difference on the front chainring, so how does that total capacity change?
  4. Can someone please explain to me how this chart works?
  5. I suppose it depends on how you set the pins up as well, I made the pins on the outside of the pedal stick out 2mm more than the inner puns on the stamps The OneUp actually have a convex shape, but they feel good and grip well, so I just ride them...
  6. Have Crankbrothers Stamp 2 large on one bike, and OneUp composites on the other bike
  7. Fit the same, I had EU44 510 and got EU44 Leatt, just keep in mind the laces on the Leatt, they have ZERO stretch, so once the are done up, they are done up, you actually have to have them quite loose when you first put them on, otherwise you will get sore feet....
  8. But none of those are childrens bikes???
  9. I have the Leatt 3.0, coming from 510 FreeRider Pro, the sole is a lot stiffer, they are really nice shoes
  10. Doesnt sound like @droo will be thanking you though 😂🤣
  11. Next question, the 100% glasses look good, but where can I go to try some on? Preferably JHB East Rand....
  12. Glasses falling off has never been a problem, and I cant ride with goggles either, they block my nose and I just hate the way they feel as well
  13. Does not necessarily mean much, a guy I know bought a bike off the hub recently, seller took the bike to a shop to get checked out before selling, shop gave it the all clear, when the buyer recieved the bike he did one ride, got home, cleaned the bike and found a crack in the frame, went back to look at pictures the seller used and saw the crack was there in the sellers photos as well, fortunately the bike shop is honoring the warranty, but still, has to wait a couple weeks for a new frame.....
  14. I would like to try get a pair of riding glasses, getting a little tired of stones and dust going in my eyes, my problem is, I have tried a handful of glasses, but the lenses never really seem to be big enough, so either I see bellow the bottom of the frames or over the top, which in turn messes around with my depth perception and makes me feel rather ill, can anyone recommend a pair that may help overcome this? As a reference, a friend let me try his Oakley Flight Jackets, but those didnt work for me....
  15. Riding his backyard flowline and seeing his snakes, no no, not that one, sounds like a plan
  16. Have not been on the recieving end, but I dod sell a bike last year that had a cracked wheel, I didnt know it was cracked, the buyer informed me, sent me pics, I sent them to the wheel manufacturer, they sent a warranty replacement which I then forwarded to the buyer and payed for the wheel rebuild... I think that is was the right way to handle it...
  17. I am super jealous of you guys that see snakes on trails, I love seeing them, but I NEVER see them on walks or rides, and all you okes who dont want to see them, see them 😒 very miffed....
  18. I also have the Rapide Gravel bars, the 460mm wide one, I manage to get to the brakes quite nicely, it looks a little strange, but they work well, but I dont have much to compare it to as far as drop bars go
  19. 15 that he has built this year surely?
  20. What I want to know is, how many rigid forks do you have "just laying around" for all these bikes 😂🤣
  21. You more than likely dont NEED one, but they do add a nice little bit of bling to the bike, on my old Norco I had the chain drop 1 time, so I put on a OneUp chain guide, never had an issue again, it was then transferred to the next bike, it is an added safety net, and I just like the way they look...
  22. Ok great, we add the courier fee the price, all is fantastic, the buyer is still paying via BHP, when the courier truck gets burnt, the buyer does not get his bike, BHP pays him his money back, including the courier fee, the seller is now sitting at a total loss though, including the courier fee... The only fair way to deal with a situation like that is to make the buyer arrange the courier to collect, the onus then falls on him to make sure if the courier insures that shipment, if the seller has proof that he has sent the bike with courier and that an incident has taken place where there is a total loss of the item, which the courier would be able to provide, then he should get payed, and the buyer should then get payed out by the couriers insurance, and if the buyer didnt make sure to insure it, well then unfortunately it would be his problem to deal with. This scenario may seem very far fetched and unlikely to happen, but as can be seen, it can happen, and has happened...
  23. I also very curious to know what happened to the seller in this instance? Yes it is fantastic that the buyer got his money back, but now the seller sits with no bike and no money, yet he did hold up his end of the deal and sent the bike, in fact he will be down even further having had to pay the courier fee, and every time I have sent a bike with a courier, they tend to state, in small lettering somewhere, that there is no insurance on the parcel, so what happens in a case like this?
  24. I didnt know you could cycle in the park, so.e of those hills though 🥴 not sure if I want to ride them 😅
