We Did a 100 km training ride from Kondomo over Neverender to J-bay and onto Seaview this morning and I have one word of advice: BRING WARM CLOTHES ! - Clear skies and not a breath of wind with a temperature of 2 deg C at 8:00 Am at the enterance of the kloof.

I wanted to go, but the "Locked in" until the last rider completes the course put me off. How was the route though? See any game? Any single track through the forest?

The bike turnaround point also got moved by +- 150m, although it made the bike trip slightly shorter, definitely did not compensate for the buoy move. I am so glad I did not do this IM - doubt if I would have made that swim...

Just came back from the turnaround point on the Seaview rd. Wind is blowing a gale SW! Longest bike lap times on record. My guess is that this race will also be one that will go down as one of the most DNF's - Its seriously tough out there!

Had Ardents (26x2.25 non ust) on for +- 5 months. Happy to say I am going to replace them now with another set of Ardents for general riding.
