Two Oceans ultra make the actual bag useful. You get a re-usable cloth type bag, much better & gives the sponsor some long term coverage.

Can you still get it? I used to use it to dry out blisters when I was paddling, but tried to find some the other day and none of the pharmacies could get stock..

You really don't want to store your bikes outside. Can't you look at hanging the bikes in the garage either on the walls or from the roof?

So, been looking at some new wheels since my last pair were trashed by a car.. Anyone know anything about Zefiro wheelsets? CRC has some going at a good price. Hubs used are DT Swiss Onyx, which I think are entry level DT Swiss? Specifically looking at the Zefiro K30. I'm more interested in reliability and available of replacement parts than weight..

I use a quadrant. It works very well with making you visible to other road users. I'm not sure that it's that effective in lighting up the road for you to see though, I think you'd need to spend quite a bit more cash to get that kind of light. In it's price range it's a great buy.

Test out a SDG Bel Air. Reasonably priced & very comfy for most people.

Yup, having heard all the issues with spares on the new Shimano XT wheels I don't really want the same issue with Ultegra wheels.

yup, a friend is riding an older Dura-ace wheelset & swears by them. But the Ultegra's are still a bit out of my price range.

Ok, so a motorist took me out last month and I'm now in the process of replacing my bike. I was riding Mavic Aksiums and could just replace with the same as that's what the insurance will (hopefully) pay for. But at the same time I could justify throwing in a few R's and get something a little better. Any suggestions in the R3500 range? I like the look of the new Shimano Ultegra WHR 6600 wheelset, but they're a little out of budget & also have custom spokes. ????

Interesting, what team were you riding for? If you read the rules around support vehicles you would know that each team was only allow one vehicle.. Nice going, good way to ruin the event for everyone else. SUPPORT / SECONDARY VEHICLES: ? Teams are allowed to have ONE support vehicle. The registration number of this vehicle must be given to the organisers by the team captain when collecting the event packs at registration. Teams will be disqualified should they have more than one, or any unofficial support vehicles.
