  2. Which side are you on? Waterkloof High school side? Im on Moreletakloof side - will keep an eye out. Bad luck mate!
  3. It is a proper race for sure! You know you are going to ***-off but you go just to see how much `Junk-Yard-Dog` aka HoneyBadger, you have inside!
  4. I picked up a nasty cold yesterday - don't know if that`s it me. Sure as hell hope not! I know King Alton and Belinda will be out there as well as a few others who`s handles I don't know. To all out there on Sunday : Rock-out with your C%#k-out! If only Eldron could swim, he would surely be out there!
  5. @JGR : Singletrack Fuel`s Marathon Fuel is available in: Strawberry Lime - it is the sweeter of the flavours Refreshing Apple - softer flavour and less sweetness than the Strawberry Lime Wild Berry - The most neutral of the flavours and the less sweet of the 3 flavours - only available in Dec.
  6. Left this one alone for a while as to not come across as piggy-back selling. Now that some time has past - here are the stats from Singletrack Fuel`s Marathon Fuel. Amounts listed are per serving of 70g - mixed with 680ml - 750ml water Energy 1058Kj Protein 12.6g Total Carbs 44.7g of which sugars 25.1g Total Fats 3.1g of which saturated 2.4g Total fibre 0.1g Sodium 409mg Potassium 78mg Calcium 35mg Magnesium 58mg Phosphorous 23mg Vitamin C 75mg This is what we race on for MTB, Tri, trail run or any endurance event. All in one bottle. No blood sugar spikes or valley`s - just clean, constant energy for as long as you want to go. Four different sources of energy for maximum absorption with beta-alanine, nitric oxide and electrolytes to keep you going. Little bit of protein helps with muscle repair on the go. We will be out at Rockman X Tri this weekend - come and say hi! Feel free to contact us for any further info.
  7. Let me know if you do place an order - might need a set or 2
  8. A lot still needs to be done before I can leave it behind and enjoy a week of me-time! Cant wait. Dropping off my bike tomorrow and flying on Sat. Crank dat **** up!!!!!!!
  9. Was nice seeing most of the boys out there - met up with Rouxtjie day 1 on the final staight, bumped into Oompie Jezza and @MikeBike a few times - saw @Karma and @MRSingletrack end of day 3 - they seemed very happy to be done with it. Alos had a chat to @Iron on day 1. Really lekka ride out - took my partner and I 2 days to get out chemistry right - day 3 was quick. Boosted the ego a bit to pass the leading ladies on the avalanche - then it was ballz out to the finish! Tried to run this am but it seems I forgot to pack the legs in again. Well worth outing. I`ll just stay closer by next year as we could not travel in with the kids every night for the `show` so missed out on that a bit.
  10. Been called of the bench as an impact player. See you boys there!
  11. As long as they limit it to 580mm each side of the stem, we should be fine. Otherwise - attack of the lesser spotted XCO masses!
  12. Will you be serving flapjacks to a selected few in the am? How does one acquire a spot on such a distinguished list?
  13. PM sent - Tx Matt
  14. In there with you mate - keep an eye out for the Green Salsa and Singletrack Fuel ridng top - say hi!
  15. My boet competes in tri races in the US. 200lbs - Clydesdale 220lbs - Super Clydesdale Gives the big boys something to race for! He`s in Super Clydesdale competing against ex Football/baseball/basketball boys. At the line everyone else is about a head and neck taller than him - he is 6ft. Some big boys out there!
  16. Ma BOUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice one brother. Will do the secret handshake at Van Gaalens!
  17. Anthony Kiedis - very interesting and twisted life story. RHCP proclaimed as the most unmistakebly LA-sounding band ever. They have done a lot for music. Also loved his cameo in Point Break! He slotted right into that roll! No acting needed. Sure he was told to `just be yourself`
  18. Thank you Sir!
  19. Try Chait at Lassen Sport - www.lassen.co.za
  20. There are a few ways to look at any product: 1. Where is this going to get me in the next few minutes - immediate effect 2. Where is this going to get me in the next few years - prolonged effect. If you dump a cup of Jet-A1 in to your car`s tank - the immediate effect might be great - long term, not so much. Know what is in your drink and why. Through education you can that the `guess work` out of your nutrition and better asses your needs.
  21. Need to get some more long miles in this month - a head cold ruined my long ride planning for this past weekend. Need to get over it asap - the beast is lurking just behind this month! And there is no way around it!
  22. Normally by the time I get to those tunnels, I already have tunnel vision. Never knew that is what they actually look like!
  23. That decent was the one part I was looking forward to!!!!!!!
  24. If I remember correctly it uses a cassette lock ring - same pitch and thread. Any old cassette lock ring will do.
  25. No Jezza - got the opportunity to do Pioneer and decided to hook that up this year. Rattlesnake hurt me too much last time - felt like a `free Ho` at a Miner`s golf day - just got it hard all day.
