  1. This is the part that gets me : Contact me before making the purchase. I would like to explain my terms of sale http://millerestaurants.com/catering.jpg
  2. There is a great Salsa in the Classified
  3. Ebay is both private & retailers selling. You can get some good deals but most US sellers only sell to US addresses. Shipping is pricey.
  4. I would recommend Riana Robertson from Dinamic Coaching. She is in Faery Glen, Pta. Contact her on Twitter @dinamicgauteng or PM me for details.
  5. If its a dbl loop looks like it will be around 65km. Dont know the area well but my guess is that it will be a fairly flat course right? Really looking forward to this - close to home and offroad!
  6. 1st cup of water goes over your head 2nd cup is to drink
  7. Think it`s J&J Cyling in Pretoria.
  8. Shoes with laces are not allowed - only `quick draw` lacing systems. Run-and-mount your bike cyclocross style - stopping to mount/dismount is a newbie giveaway. Running peak is a have to have - caps are a no-no! Any running shoes with a heel-to-toe drop with more than 6mm is a no-no Gels get strapped to the top tube of the bike like domino`s - easy tear style When someone asks you how the swim training is going the appropriate answer is : I`ve been doing a lot of work on my catch. The bigger the goggles - the faster you can swim open water. Triathlon is just an exercise in `energy management`
  9. 83kg - 1.7 front 2.2 Sugarro - 2.0 rear 2.1 Ikon
  10. Info was via email. @rattlesnake - I`ll pretend you have some treats for me in your pocket and get my dog-on!
  11. Just got mine too - `B` batch bitches. Anyone want to help me make a run from B?
  12. Nope - prob only Thursday
  13. True dat! 12 - 14hrs per week is PLENTY. I hope most of those are actually on the bike - key point to note! You can train a lot in gym which will help - but your ass needs to be a negative print of your saddle. Get in a few long consecutive rides if you can - get use to 5 - 7hrs back-to-back
  14. Race Time Son! Race Time!
  15. Printing is done in Bulk - then sold off to participants then sold off to Joe Soap at marginal prices. Short term increase in cash flow and overstock reduction. Long term damage to Brand Integrity. Not what I would have done - but then again, its not my Company.
  16. I gotst me some 740mm on the Salsa. Even the 680mm on the 29er feels too narrow for me. Then again - Im not the norm.
  17. If you are looking for a large - contact B-Unit. He has a full suss and HT on sale.
  18. https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/127326-duathlon-races/page__st__16 Most of the comments have been posted in the link above
  19. Its the Momentum Duathlon series - www.duathlon.co.za The next 2 races are off road - Blue Hills & Cornwall. There is another off-road duathlon just outside Pta on Sun 07 July at Blue Moonlight lodge - 10km past Roodeplaat dam on the Maloto rd - www.xdirt.co.za Should be good fun - I see the Blue Hills race only starts 09:00! Come say Hi to the guy in the Singletrack Fuel shirt!
  20. The info that is needed to do this conversion is missing form you post. The main concern here is the size of your BB - on the bike - not the bearing that fits into it. BB30 means that the thickness of the shaft running from one side to the other is 30mm also known as OD - outer diameter. A GXP crankset has a 24mm shaft on the drive side and then a step down to a 22mm on the Non drive side. This keep the crank from sliding side to side. If you have a `SRAM GXP, outboard bearing bottom bracket` which would leave me to believe that the bottom racket on the bike is threaded and in that case - NO - to my knowledge there is no adapter. New bikes have non threaded BB that are bigger - BB30 has OD of 40mm and PF30 has OD 46mm - these allow for the bigger bearings to fit into the bike frame. In new frames with BB30 and PF30 bottom brackets you can fit spacers but unfortunately not the other way around - as far as I know. BB30 and PF30 are also narrower than GXP - by about 40mm if I remember correctly - so even if you could get the bearings to a bigger size to accept the bigger shaft - stop the jokes, I know what that sounded like - the BB30 crankset would still be to narrow and not fit. Hope that helps.
  21. Knysna 300 - proper stage race
  22. Also check out the Citec wheels from Eldron for bullet proof
  23. Set mine up as per JCZA so now have 100m travel as opposed to the 80 with pos & neg psi the same. Think its 110psi pos - 95 psi neg - I run it a bit less than recommended - rebound 3/4 closed Im at 83kg. Hope that helps.
