    I agree, the road maintenance is quite poor. Lots of broken branches and stones laying in the road as well.

    I agree. A friend approached them with this suggestion and they weren't interested at all!

    Saturday's route was the same as last year with the last climb a bit of a killer! Sunday? Well it was a shortened route of Saturday and only 40Km. Not sure what happened to the route from last year which was a great route riding into the Sandstone mountains. So you paid twice to ride a long and short version of the same route and nothing was mentioned at the start about the route change. I was very disappointed!

    I settled on the PCS 9 after having a couple of crappy stands. It's a great stand...well worth the buy!

    I used to ride there a couple of years ago in the afternoons with some mates and we had a created a nice little loop but...after being warned a couple of times by a warder that we were trespassing and we could be arrested we decided it was time to move on!

    New Sidi road shoes. So so comfy!

    I have 25mm Conti Grand Prix 4000s tyres on my 25mm carbin rims. Much smoother ride and more contact with the road. I'm using the carbon brake pads that came with my rims but spent a lot of time adjusting them to get rid of the terrible squeaking under hard breaking. Picked up a lot of advice on the net.
