Ego's aside and back to the topic - I don't understand how one can say it is too expensive while it sells within 36 seconds and that KE forgets about the locals while the % of SA riders is still the majority?! Show me any international event attracting top teams and still keep the majority local.. No, I haven't done it and no I won't do it, but congrats to KE for succeeding in establishing the epic as the top race.

rotator cuff Op.- shoulder was sort of dislocating too easily. has been ten years, never had any problems since, except it gets really sore when it is cold outside. Wierd stuff.

have to agree with armpies. having 4 or 5 mates in the back of my bakkie, with nothing but a bit of fibre glass between them and whatever might hit you is just not cool. carry their bikes, that's what your car is made for, don't carry passengers in the back. Yes, it is fun camping around the cooler box in the back of the bakkie, but only as long as all goes well.
