imho R800 is really not that much. A DT Swiss XD or Microspline freehub can almost set you back R2k, just saying ...

Also agree. Many years ago I did run 10km under 40 min and 21 under 1:30. To get there is a lot more maximal efforts, blood, sweat & tears. Also did Comrades, 2 Oceans and many other marathons & ultras. Takes a lot of time to train for these to improve endurance, but to run faster than 4min/km is a completely different beast all together, something the vast majority of runners will never achieve, that's just how it is.

Anyone out there that use or have some tech knowledge on the DT Swiss L2 Remote lever? More specifically, what is the pull distance? Don't want to jinx it but I see a possible 1 & 2 for JV. Between Primoz and Jonas for the win, would be a nice tester too see which of them is in best form. Would be nice if Wout can steal 3rd overall, but with those mountains on the last two stages, probably very unlikely.

100% correct, Just don't forget about Jonas, he is pretty special himself. I'm sure Wout and the rest of the team will look after them both.
