  3. Petrol indirectly affects cyclists .... (Parts, clothes, inflation, etc) Cycling to work is however nice, when not paying for fuel, although food becomes the fuel Noticed the price of fuel this week, when I tapered off for a race this weekend ...
  4. Happend to me the other day, a coke bottle was thrown. I noted the car and knew I would probably catch them further up the road. (They did not know this, nor expect it) When I got to the car, three inside, the oke at the back was a youngster. I asked them all if they threw it at me, all denied it. I did not want to push the point, but was actually glad to have to have caught them, and let them know I can. It just means next time, I blixem them if it happens again. A bit of preventative maintenance...

  9. During the week , on my own to work and back. On weekends with friends and family. Twice while changing a puncture, I had these chaps come look. Think they were sizing me up. I normally ask "what the f^^@7 do you want ?" - response is is "Im a gardener looking for work" , seriously, im changing a flat and now im looking for a gardener? I think on more than one occasion they did the sizing up, and thought - rather not ...

  15. mon-fri ride to work 1h ride home 1h sat/sun weekends - nothing yet, but going to start again soon, probably another 2-3h ride; or some races which are good training rides
