  1. I think you are the only one out of 700 that didn't like it....oops I am sorry to have missed my fifth one this year, I still rate it the best race in the Western Cape, purely cos you have the privilege to ride in the indigenous Knysna forest with its amazing smells and 1000 year old trees, thats what you go there for.
  2. Did you have a Racetec chip? No need to be a PPA member to have your results show on this race, but you'd have to wear a chip to reflect results on Racetec
  3. jinne...fully rigid 26" wif V-brakes ek sĂȘ?! It must've felt like the groot TREK
  4. Some change of scenery this morning as "Die Swartkat" showed me around a very nippy Worcester, shot brother! Check how friendly these farmers are around here (note the board)

  13. Did you guys take that mother of a vertical drop just after that crazy sharp switchback right turn? It felt as if my butt was kissing my rear tyre, seriously, it was quite a nail biter and felt steeper than previous years

  22. Now I got you curious and thinking what in the world is this all about.... Well, here's my dilemma. Im a keen one day event racer, 55-85km events and usually finish in the top 10-15%. I can do better if it wasn't for this little issue I cant seem to resolve. I just cannot for the life of me stick to the franatic pace of the start upfront, especially starts with a longish flat section, or even an immediate climb. My first 15km in a race feels like death row and the period my mind plays the most tricks on me, "you are unprepared", "okes behind you gonna catch up and drop you like fly" "not gonna be a great day in the saddle" and so it goes on... After about 15km or so I will start reeling guys in as I've settled into a rhythm and as I said finish in a fairly good position top 10 or 15 Now my question, is this just my fate, I have a diesel engine and will have to live with it or can I become a 2l Turbo at the ripe old age of 35years? Maybe I started cycling too late, only 3years ago? I dont know, any constructive comments will be appreciate!! Thx Brandon
  23. Well done to Charl Pierre Esterhuysen who won, take note of this kid WORLD! Still in matric (talking under correction), and what a machine of a talent! Racetec reflect him in 4th place but the top three positions on racetec is wrong, as he won.
