Just wanted to thank Dirtman for taking me out on these routes in August. I was blown away by the beautiful scenery. And was pleasantly surprised by the varying terrain and climbs over the 40km we did. A proper balanced route (Green - Red - Green I think) for training and understanding what MTB'ing is actually about. Well done on an excellently routed course! Attached is some photos I took.

I changed from eggbeaters( Used same pair for two years) and bought myself Quartz pedals, and will never LOOK back , pun intended.

This was my second road race , first one being Dischem Ride for Sight. Came in at 02h55, quite pleased considering I was going full out at the Nissan 40km on Saturday. Was a nice experience and will be back next year.

Good day Tokai'ers I'm coming to CPT from the 7th - 11th August. Any suggestions to trials and routes that I can go and ride? What I have ridden : Tokai - More a exploration session that finding the nice trails. Groenpunt - Houtbaai : Coastal route. Would like to add chappies next time. Bottlelary hills : Any comments? Table mountain routes : Any comments? I will be staying in Rondebosch and fying my MTB down. So if anyone is keen to join me in the week or maybe the Saturday, let me know. Regards, Dub

Hmmm. Still haven't received an email on batch ect. But have atleast got a receipt from Eventry saying I'm successfully entered for the race.
