  1. Yet we saw him do it live. I watched attentively and anecdotally was exceptionally impressed with Mr B’s protracted performance and effort, comparatively speaking. Sê ma' net. Much respect to him!
  2. “With Mods” eyyyy? I’m guessing this bloviating shitgibbon is either from another planet or a glass-half-full kinda guy.
  3. I’m 1.9m and have found that my L Cannondale Trail 2 with 29" wheels is undersized. It feels as if I’m sitting a bit too “on top” of it. A recently acquired XL Trek is a far better fit. At your height I’d strongly advise focusing on XL’s, and when you’re ready having a bike fit at your local bike shop. At any rate try riding several before forking out the cash, in that way you’ll know when it’s a good fit. Excellent idea to pay attention to drivetrain components when buying a used piece, components are expensive to replace. Don’t hesitate to ask a friend or anyone on here (with pics). Don’t be surprised when you soon feel the need to upgrade so that you can shred trails harder and faster.
  4. De Waterkant, I aver. That looks very much like the entrance a few doors away from my regular base when visiting the kids, some beautiful and unusual and surprisingly spacious homes there. Exceptional rendering, naaaaisss.
  5. NEWSFLASH! Evil alien robot BEZOS abducts Captain Kirk!!!
  6. Two of the Richmond Park bikejackers pictured yesterday.
  7. Congrats, bruh!!!
  8. Stunning right!? Not a fan of that pinion system when the crank has to be completely stationary before changing gears, awkward on some inclines.
  9. ???? Meanwhile, north of our border people are fretting about those jobs taking all their Zimbabweans...
  10. Stopped road cycling on two physios’ advice at 28 a few years after L1+2 spinal fractures playing rugby, triggered a lifelong autoimmune spinal thing. Frequent swimming was great. Decades later, getting onto the multiple singletracks near my home and exploring coastal pathways about 6 days a week for the last two years has been even more amazing for the spine. Vir alles! Speedy tumbles se moer. ????
  11. Sheeesh! Even a rogue driver decking him a week or so before a championship race can’t stop this beast from winning!?
  12. ???????? Pointing out that your spill happened at lower speed outside your home’s bound to convince ‘em that us geezers (57) should rather shred even more.
  13. @Robbie Stewart Howyadoing bruh? Strange how we come away just fine with some high speed tumbles and yet awkward low speed spills may put us out of action. Sterkte.
  14. Proper proper, and stylish as well. Excellent product design and spec, with a matching price. Note to self: “Start rapid save measures for three year old and only grandson across the country.” Great choice, thanks for the heads up.
  15. A notable feature of these recent derailleurs is the arrowed lever switch. I’ve heard that a workshop was unaware of it’s purpose and I’ve found that some users don’t yet know. Happy commuting and trails with the new setup.
  16. ???? Reporting requirement data shows that not a single one of our graduates (from a state and our private institution) working all over Africa dealing with ebola or congo fever or any other viral haemorrhagic fever has ever contracted one of those.
  17. And still, Lizzie will be paid a shameful 5.1% of the winning prize that the man winning tomorrow will be paid. So much for the notion that Europe is an egalitarian or even sophisticated community...
  18. Clever 1x chainring setup imo for a race with a relatively flat profile. I’d have done that, sê ma’ net.
  19. I very much appreciate how hard these women are going and their level of professional effort. This piece from cyclingnews highlights a disgraceful injustice.
  20. Gave The Cable Guy a second watch last night, slightly less unhinged acting and a tighter storyline and editing. Mostdef still a good watch. #latereview
  21. Correct, Taiwan it is. Edit: As personally told from the proverbial horse’s mouth.
  22. And then the supreme hypocrite would fly across the Atlantic in his private jet for a one day date. He reportedly did that again for one night for the Met Gala in NY a few days ago.
