    Talk about moving the goal posts. In the past I used the 0W-30 Rockshox oil on my 2020 Pike Ultimate and going through the manual now I see they list Maxima PLUSH Dynamic Suspension Lube Light as the oil to use. What is the difference and will I be killing anything sticking to the 0W-30 oil?

    I've used the thick clear Gorilla tape in the past and it sticks like **** to a blanket. Quite thick and should protect really well. Not sure if it is suited to the soapy water spray application but worth a shot. I ended up using Armor Ride (https://armour-ride.com/) on a new frame recently and while their service isn't too great, and the kit isn't perfect, it did work really well. Holding up very well over the past 4 months. It is best to apply any protection to a frame before the build but it isn't always possible so you are in for a bit of fiddling to get it installed. Worth paying your local shop to do it if you don't have a lot of patience.

    Done Karkloof a lot in the past so we are looking for something new to try out. Can't beat a good Karkloof weekend though.

    Resurrection time. Looking for the same but willing to go a little further on the traveling. Drakensburg is definitely the destination and we can do around 30km rides with 500m of climbing comfortably (aka without me getting stabbed) Bergville has some trails on Trailfork. More suggestions please.

    You have a great setup there. You will definitely see a great reduction in your bill. If you set it up to power the house at night from the batteries then even better. We use about 40% to 50% between 18:00 and 06:00 to power everything. Gas stove and heating though. As for the channels....you have power cables passing through there. I think it should be plastic but if you have the COC and proper grommets are used then I don't see a problem.

    8KW with 2x Hubble AM2s? I have the 5KW with the same batteries. Definitely worth it. No loadshedding and my electricity bill is never more than R250. I just pay for my geyser to run. 16 panels on the roof. I don't see the logger installed on your inverter unless the 8KW has it in a different place. Works great to monitor your system. My one question is... are those galvanized metal channels?

    Normally use it but it isn’t always that accurate. Best marked trail I’ve ever ridden was MTO Cairnbrogie. I guess they all aren’t the same in terms of upkeep. Plan is to do Lowveld MTO, Tranquilitas, and Mankele while we are up there.

    And? Considering a trip up there in August for some riding but poorly marked trails boils my balls. Otherwide Karkloof it is.

    Sadly not the lower end market but Hope is insanely reliable and easy to self service. I've bled mine once in 8 years of ownership and only because I felt it was time. No other reason. Can't speak to the other brands on the market.

    The seller is still in the wrong to not offer a refund. Will make a note to NOT deal with him through. Looking forward to his version of events and how he plans on rectifying this.

    Very good price indeed. Great brand. Just be very careful when shopping online. Lots of scams out there. Ask on powerforum.co.za if you’re unsure.
