  1. Wow, that is tiny! I just ordered this last night for my XX1 and X0 crank. they have options for other cranks with 104 bcd too. http://absoluteblack...spiderless.html http://absoluteblack.cc/images/sram-pho/1%20sram%20spiderless%20Racing%20Red.jpg

  7. next time try out Marco and Greg down the road from Solomons at Cycletech next to Kyalami. I have found they do go the extra mile once they get to know you. Bought 2 bikes from them, had ups and downs, but still go back as they do make an effort.
  8. who ever gets their entry in first. thereafter the second person in the split team goes onto the waiting list
  9. What you do is plug the USA tracking number in the track and trace link below, and it will tell you where it is. From Taiwan my items usually take 3-4 days, then it sits here in SA fro a further 9-14 days. Our SAPost has so much to improve upon, downright useless. http://ems.sapo.co.za/EmsWebSite/index.htm
  10. no he will talk about "How telling the truth has set me free" and other some such drivel.
  11. Most Ebay users use paypal. I have bought and sold many items using EBAY. works well. Be sure to check thaier shipping methods and their return warantee's. Also check their ratings, dont use guys who have returned several negative ratings. USA - can find great deals on almost anything, shipping is very expensive. Bought model train kits, snowboards, furniture, electronics, bike parts, dvds - all good UK - much better shipping prices, can find useful items if you search around. China - Varying degrees of success. cheap items, but varying quality usually poor. They dont bother packing your item securely, and shipping, whether free or paid for takes for bloody ever. Had several items go missing (SA PO Sticky Fingers?), and have had several items damaged. Taiwan - Great service so far, good quality items, and free shipping is FAST, and often signed for EMS service. Pretty happy with these sellers. Nice thing with ebay, if your item doesnt arrive or is broken or other problems, you can lodge a case and Ebay admin sorts it out, usually through a full refund. all depending on your own user rating and time spent using ebay.

The race has changed over the years. The entry fee has double, the number of event participants trebled. The route has become much easier to ride, efforts of the local community cutting trails have increased. The food menu has stayed the same - sadly The goodie bag has improved. This year - lack of sound/video at Mackenzie was very disappointing at the dinner race debrief. so was the poor sound at Joilvet. Mud in the tents at Jolivet was very annoying - adventure riders just didnt give a damn that the tent was going to be used the next day. the route changes were nice - blerry floating bridge on day 3 and all. massages - very good. Is it still fun - definitely. Value for money - mmmm...

  21. Gripshift is really excellent, once tried = never go back. Have used both Sram and Shimano, both work. I enjoy Sram.
  22. There are cheaper options on some of the XX1 items, CWC and Evobikes do offer better discounts on some items. Also on the expensive cassette, there are alternatives: You can convert a std 10sp PG1050 / 1070 / 1030 cassette with this: the General Lee - http://www.pinkbike.com/news/General-Lee-Wide-range-Cassette-Adapter-First-Look-2013.html seen it on Ebay still costly, but not quite what a XX1 cassette costs.
  23. These chainrings are super sexy too. http://absoluteblack.cc/xx1-style-shimano.html
