  1. I thought i was going bonkers, mine has done exactly the same thing, wonder if there is any chance of getting Luxotica or Oakley international to have a look and see if its a faultly coating? Spent almost 90GBP in the Covent Gardens shop 2 weeks ago on new lenses for my Flak Jackets where i managed to scratch a lens.
  2. I'm not trained and I ain't no Rambo either but in all 3 attempted hi-jack / smash n grab senarios so far i have had the "flight" reaction, first one was with a concealed weapon (coulve been a stick) = who knows, second one was looking down the steel barrel = extremely lucky, and the most recent time i could see both hands so got away with it "easily". I commend this guy for doing the sensible thing, unless you are in the situation i dont think any of us really know what we would do.
  3. Colonel Screetching Warlock - bit of a mouthfull
  4. As a ex-rock climber so heights normally dont phase me, but i also got sweaty palms from watching this, dunno what needs to be going on inside your head to ever think something like this is a good idea.
  5. These blokes are really messed up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=XI-KxARxHKc
  6. Apparently there is a South African League for this, search MTBS you uTjoob, some of them are pretty cool.
  7. I still have that cap
  8. "Ohh eh eh, just one small cap" will never be enough....
  9. You will need a bigger hammer at some stage.....
  10. Yes, heard that one as well, not sure it was Mr O but it was done by someone. They also used a heli previously at Gosforth Park after an early morning rain shower to try out the track Edit: Spelling
  11. Stunning, thats begging to be made into a SS commuter bike, keep the fork and do the same for the front brake caliper. Edit: Note to self, wait for Flowta to finish posting
  12. Vitally important, I replaced my BB (Twice actually, the second time I took it out to grease the heck outve it), my freehub and my rear wheel's bearings just to get rid of an annoying click / creaking noise during pedalling, turns out the threads on the pedals were very dry, greased them up over the weekend and now I enjoy the silence again....
  13. I can upload the full res version of that pic, , made it onto News24 as well
  14. Square taper should be fine to anodize, no shaft to dissolve
  15. Multi-purpose boat anchor? Looking good, going to be sick, will get side inserts done ASAP

  17. Damm, pity they cant be trusted
  18. Any idea where results get posted?
  19. Good dirty fun, lucky that it didn't rain and that the non-alcoholic beers ( :-( ) were cold.
  20. darn, there goes the master plan for making my ride look tricked out, some of my lighting systems aren't waterproof, guess we stick to the normal lights this time.
  21. Hoping the rain stays away till at least the end of the race
  22. Looks like a novatec freehub that, serviced one last week that was in rough shape. Your LBS should be able to get a replacement one. I did notice that the inner bearings were replaceable.
  23. Waiting....
  24. I'd rather remove and plug it a home than risk it pulling out on a ride. Most of the time the stans will seal it if you rotate the hole to the bottom for a minute or 2
