  2. I did my normal commute to work this morning, my first ride in 10 days after battling some flu and sinusitis. All systems go! Bring on the Monster!
  3. Yup, and this is why there are always so many bottlenecks on these Nissan races. Personally, this is one reason I'm doing the 'Monster instead.

  12. But on closer inspection, I noticed that the top tube had a spiral crack in it at the internal cable routing aperture. So Sad. I still bought the bike for parts though....vintage aero brake levers are hard to come by!

  19. A rigid 26'er single speed makes you a better rider. A 29er makes you a happier rider.
  20. with a small exposure adjustment in Lightroom, you have this. Remember that you can always overexposue your shot a bit when shooting a very light scene like this, or at the beach or in snow as your camera's light meter always tries to average out the exposure.
  21. I always have a flashy red LED on the back whenever I am on or near a road. I'm sure it makes me more visible and certainly makes me feel safer.

  23. I rode 90km in the Cradle on a similar bike with some mates this weekend. 42x18 ratio was just about perfect.
