  5. The movie is already available for download...
  6. Classifieds also gone on Android phone, mobile site. I want it back!
  7. So now youngsters cannot just get a 29er and be done with it (1 bike), now they now have to own at least 2 bikes. If this rumour is true, which I doubt, it must be a push from the bike companies to boost sales.
  8. I've got a pimped 26er and a pimped 29er. The problem I have with 29ers is that it makes the 26er look like a BMX.
  9. Surname?

From the Morkels. Luckily they are in the right cliques and will be picked for the next game regardless how they sucked today.

Mate of mine is in the side. BBM'd him to ask wtf AB was thinking by putting the guy with the 2nd highest economy rate in at the end. Bad captaincy.
  13. So what pressure you think I should pump my handlebars for the best bump absortion?
  14. Ok I get it that there might/is a belief that if you have bigger wheels there is an extra gyroscopic effect and that might need wider bars (leverage) to get the wheel to turn direction. But, damn, really? When I built my 29'er, the cockpit I took over from another bike (26er) that I stripped down. The handlebars were 565mm (and also old 25.4mm bars) if I measured it correctly. I see some (local) guys are selling bars that are up to 710mm wide. I've put the bike though enduros which obviously does not require wide bars, but also VERY tight singletrack and have never had issues with leverage, etc. I'd think moerse wide bars would actually be a hindrance? There some other advantage I'm missing?
  15. That's usually the problem right there. And 20 guys is still a small bunch. The groups I ride with are usually around 60 or more. The logistics of having 60 or more guys stop without someone rear-ending someone else is near impossible.
  16. Just because the decals/stickers are designed in South Africa does not make it a South African brand. The frame comes straight from China, as does 95% of the other carbon frames in the world. As far as I know, Produx is/was the only "real" South African frame.

    What you riding?
  22. After much mulling it about, I built my 29'er with old school gears and haven't been sorry yet. Good old 44/32/22 with 11x36. Can ride up the side of a house if it comes down to it, and with a 44x11 on a 29'er, you got some serious speed when its needed.

  24. Yep, we're paying for that. And the commission will be headed by lots of ANC connected fat cats. And the results of the commission's findings will never be released. When last can you remember that any findings of any "probe" being made public?
  25. Nope, because we have been cycling long enough to know our bodies and what it takes to loose weight. And it BESLIS does not involve exercising less.
