i unashamedly ride with a saddle bag on my road bike - yes even during the 94.7 race i hate the look but prefer not having a weight in my back pocket. my ballas bag looks a lot like this 1x bomb + adapter, spare tube, 2x levers and a piece of plastic incase i slice the tire riding over glass. the piece of plastic has saved me more than once!

i'm running Zwift on my 2011 macbook pro. it only has a 512mb card. below the min spec by half and it does ok, every now and then it stutters, but not enough to bug me. i was not expecting it to work at all! on a slightly different point i see i am now able to use my apple tv! loaded up and will try tomorrow. only downside is only being able to use 2x bluetooth sensors to record... so the kickr or P1 pedals for power + my phone linked to my garmin strap (this takes the Ant+ signal and converts it to bluetooth)

local bike manufacturers please take note of this bike. if given the chance i would buy a bike showing the national flag. its awesome!

ever done a TT? Rider had mentally prepared that entire day. in the moment i bet he had his head down giving it his all. imagine getting stopped and told to start over? doubt he would have been able to put out the same effort for a second time a shitty incident. i really do hope they push charges against the driver and subsequently the owner of the truck. the owner needs to be responsible for the drivers actions via a company code of conduct.

Oh yeah a recent crash left me in need of a new Lid. http://www.ekoi.fr/en/configurateur-casque-ekoi?idModel=9 imported by EKOI online got a few extras to! gel pads, bug catching inner, flashing rear light(for early mornings), and aero lid for well because(maybe winter riding to keep the head warmer!) all for less close to half the local price, incl taxes and delivery (via EMS #yikes!) - but all arrived ok!

use a blade and cut it open. then replace the battery and superglue shut. done it many times without any issue i think google has a guide to doing it. its very easy

should also state it allows you to ride further in the road because you know the road is clear behind you. then as soon as it beeps for a car i move over

i have the radar. i rely on it all the time, its really a great piece of tech when out on less busy roads as it give you a early warning. i love mine! it will not however help in heavy traffic.

Anyone else think the organising was a shambles? The Start: no clearly defined race group starting pens - people were literally lining up all over the show - commentator did not mention which race group was going off i stood around at the last circle with around 100 plus other riders waiting for the right time to go to the start line. i know a Vets group got set off with only half the riders! the other half had to play catch up. Prize giving: all riders were in before 9am, why wait til 12? - the crowd at prize giving was purely the racers and teams. i didn't see any fans standing around? Second, why not announce the winners of each category?? - they left out 2 racing categories because they didnt have any results? - what had they been doing for 3 hours?? more to the point the categories they left out, the racers are there for the glory, not money. so not allowing them on stage is a real shame. even more so when the prizes were clearly on the table waiting to be awarded. i also dont fully understand why the racing ladies only get a 1st and 2nd, what about 3rd? isn't that customary? Next, i started A. dropped to B on the road, where we caught the racing vets ladies. its my understanding that some got disqualified for drafting. but we caught the group near town and they were still with us at the finish. why didn't the commissaire just neutralize the ladies racing for 5min and split the group? instead they arbitrarily disqualify a few girls for drafting. where to my eyes every lady was benefiting to some extent for more than 50% of their race. bizarre. flame suit on.

damn. only saw this now. missed challenge 1. FAIL!!

you have to inject it. doesn't that say it all?

why not instead give the bundle away to organisers of mass bunch rides? let the martials ride with the radar units, then all members of the ride just sync their head units to the radar(they can support multiple paired units). thus the entire group all know when a car is approaching from behind, hopefully leading to self regulated rides that are safer for all road users?

sorry if this has been answered before... i cannot find any info on it online or on the discovery webpage. Vitality Active Rewards: last year i believe the weekly maximum they could set your goal to was 1200 points. is this still the same for 2016?? or can they up this to any figure now? Thanks in advance!
