  13. i am in that 40+ cat and a SLOW starter, what i find is eating makes a diffirence. eat well before the race (oats/toast/egg) 3 hours before and energy drink 30mins prior to start with GU and water10-15 mins before kick off, then second quarter time/distance wise start feeding for a trophy (PVM/crossant with ham, creamcheese and jam) and then last quarter take GU to take you to the end, with this my legs never run out of steam

  15. @Marterlpypie: we’re happy that your concerns have been resolved, and your claim settled. For future, we suggest that when you have no space left in your cubbyhole or boot, that you take due care and remove the valuable items from your car when parking on an open street. Taking these kinds of simple precautions will ensure that you always have a valid claim and are covered in full! and where would he go with the stuff, carry it along with him and get robbed? we are talking about people who are parking their cars and go for a bike ride, do you understand cycling? get real please

  22. is your issue with Merida or Dunkeld Cycling though? years ago i had issues with the seatpost on my Merida, dealt directly with Derrick at Merida and got sorted
  23. i just enter either at the hurlingham manor gate, or if thats closed (weekends) the front gate. go around the outer skirts on MTB (mostly offroad) its about a 4km lap with lots of climbing. to extent the lap exit at hurlingham manor gate ride up to woodlands, exit booms at woodlands and ride up republic until you get to the power station, turn right and enter booms at the top entrance to hurigham manor, down to the school an around school grounds again, think that makes it about a 8km loop.
