    Rugby...

There are many factors that contribute to failure in sa rugby..yes players chasing euros in the rich euro competition adds to this..but the how do you explain all Blacks and Australia team's success as their players contribute to this.. Im not sure if this has been addressed before ..in an interview with Justin Marshall on the success of all black rugby and how they have been able to produce consistent good teams although there is a change with new players coming into the team and what's South Africa doing wrong. His response In New Zealand all rugby players and coaches subscribe to the same brand of rugby..running attacking ball in hand look for gaps off loads etc..which sounds pretty simplistic, it starts at grassroots level all the way up to super rugby..so when a slot is available in the national team they are already familiar with their roles and requirements for that position.. In SA he observed there are too many different types of approaches by the different franchises; so a person performs well in the Lions team he is chosen into Springboks and so too for sharks Stormers etc..but then here the issue they now need to be taught the coaches game plan which now isn't natural for them and it once again becomes a disjointed affair which is visible as the players don't don't instinctively gel in a game lack of fluidity..to make matters worse many are even chosen in position that they haven't played in their franchise..which further adds to the disaster.. We as a rugby nation also are extremely frustrated and impatient and want results NOW...which is almost impossible. Ok AC gets the boot a new coach is appointed and he has his own approach and he may not have the players in the squad that conforms to his style..then what.. Are we doing enough to get the most out of the natural talent available here. Why are there so many ex sa players in other national teams.. is transformation hindering our progress and the best players truly not being picked??
  7. Hi Murray Sounds like an amazing event please include time of the meeting and departure?? Regards Nad

  11. Wow amazing route and pics.
  12. Oh lol thanks then will d
  13. Hey stretch thanks for the recommendation will Def have a look at it although I must admit, nudity is not all tht important as I'd like to leave something for the imagination.
  14. Hi yes I do, I guess there needs to be some chemistry and also the need to fit into the role with her being a credible competent actress. Dexter sister IMHO tries to hard so the role is not naturally her. While the hottie in Chicago PD...is just so naturally her role the fact that she is easy on the eyes is a huge bonus.
  15. Limitless wow first episode brilliant, 2nd hmmm ok is...I may be a bit shallow for that I apologize but the lead female.. Dexter sister just doesn't do of for me she was irritatin in dexter and now spoils ' limitless' for me. Chicago PD tht has to be a favorite on catch up the the moment explosive hard hitting crime fighting team with a beautiful female in the elite detective unit under voight, good entertainment without complex sub plots
  16. Hmmm choices... I have the 800 and had garment 610 watch You can't compare the 2 IMHO would say the 810 way better then as a treat get f3.
  17. True detectives way to deep and complex for me. Top tv shows thanks to explorer and wifi Ballers..I think the rock is just too cool. Chicago PD hard core detective easy to follow. Suits..my man Harvey way too smooth. I know this bit silly but I enjoy Storage wars and pawn stars They 100 getting exciting.

    Rugby...

Hey guys I have to say it was really disappointing to watch that game.. I was so excited at the Jesse / d Allende centre combination, hungry pair that was gave AB lots of headaches..fast ball out to them exciting rugby..enter Jean d V..omg usual boring killing the ball rugby..no creativity..had he not been the captain he would've been dropped in favor of form youthful players.. drop Jean....
  19. Look as I said I hear your argument and I guess we are all pretty gatvol of the levels of crimes being experienced especially as cyclists. It has affected my frequency of riding as before I would get on th bike go a quickie but the risk an the effort to get a group together I jut not worth it. I honestly wish there were alternatives to carrying weapons ..like a care free completely safe environment in which to cycle. It's really sad as I basically stay on table mountain and the convenience is second to none. Maybe your approach will work and hopefully after a few muggers are killed this will deter more from entering this 'profession' Good luck and more importantly be safe out there as it really has become a jungle out there.

  21. hi i hear your argument and agree with your sentiments..the reality is the legal system does not allow for us to take any action unless we are in immediate danger...yes there have been circumstances in which ppl have the time to react but most times the instinctive response has been one of flight. i too am a proudly South African gun owner and have been on many survival training courses so optomise my skills with my Glock 19..most of the hijackings occur when the cyclists was surprized and attacked unlike running where your hands are free cycling requires both hands firmly on the bars and unless u are given the opportunity to bring the bike to a complete stop then lift the cycling top to access your firearm by that time u would have injured...unlike us cyclists these F@ck heads are armed, in groups and use the element of surprize against us by hiding in bushes and jumping out at the very last second. Lets put this in the context of the law..i had a home invasion, i heard a noise and when i investigated these cowards saw me they ran away, despite having a firarm and them being in my home i could not do a thing..the items stolen was about 20k, insurance paid out 20k no loss to me really..had i adopted the rambo approach..the police confirmed that had i shot any of them while fleeing id be held for attempted murder..legal fees would have been eye watering amounts..so in this scenario not using a weapon was best for me.. Before i jump to any conclusions, please let me understand your modus operandi if you were to be surprized by a group of knife/panga wielding individuals on a deserted trail..what would you reaction time be..
  22. hi sorry to hear about ur exp of attmpted hijacking, please give us more details of the area etc, im also in the wc and i feel like a prisoner at home looking at my bikes too scared venture out on a spontaneous ride without the cycling group. any heads up on potential hotspots is appreciated, glad you and bike survived this ordeal.

    Rugby...

Hi guys I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but having watched last nights game I'm very comfortable and confidence we have a fighting chance at the RWC, d' Allende in my opinion was the man of the match and his running off the ball and quick steps and passes gave the All Blacks headaches, what's going to happen with the return of Jean de Villiers, omg, he is a ball killer, JP Fourie Fran's steyn and all the other old dogs, Our scrum half had a blinder last night, very impressed, quick to break down, fast balls left and right, my previous criticism of him was he was very slow but has improved dramatically. Hendricks not have a good game SA full back good game on offensive poor defense allowing the try to be scored one on one. Overall good game by boks, I'm just disappointed matfield doesn't hang up his boots with dignity like bakkies and rather use his experience to coach the youngsters.
  24. I've got a 110 and I has to be the most reassuring confidence inspiring bike I've ever ridden. As a newbie 2 years I sometimes find myself in situations in which my skills are not Most comfortable and this is where the Pyga steps up and takes over, the suspension is amazing and despite the weight it's very well distributed so you don't feel as heavy. For me the best part of the Pyga is the solid robust design That will not let you down under any circumstances.
  25. How do you find the pyga compared to the tall boy
