  1. Not sure if this has been posted before, but came across a useful tool for synchronising your GPS data between Garmin connect, Strava, Sporttracks etc… upload once and automatically sync between multiple sites. www.tapiriik.com

  5. Anything from Anthill films or the Collective Roam, Follow Me, Strength in numbers - the older NWD vids kick ass too
  6. book in advance and then take it for a spin around the block when you collect. they do good work though, can't go wrong.
  7. My old man is also a big guy - weighs around 120kg and we got him the Big nine tfs 500. That bike is bullet proof.
  8. edit - sorry seat tube diameter will also effect if you can use the same Front Derailleur.
  9. biggest issues i have found moving parts over: seat tube diameter? is the current seat post going to fit in the new frame bb size / type? if they don't match it could mean a new crankset / bb headtube taper - as above - if it is different a new headset should solve any issue with you using your current fork / stem / bars you'll prob need new / different length cables depending on the new routing - otherwise you should be good to go. a new chain wouldn't hurt.
  10. Whichever has the shortest chain stays?
  11. Friedland drive from Bruma side to the top of sylvia's pass. My legs burn just thinking about that climb!
  12. If your bike is hurting you, a good fitting / setup will do much more good than buying a new bike. However if you are set on a new one - FS all the way.
  13. That is going to be one seriously fun bike to ride when its done!
  14. Thanks for upgrading the trails guys - thats amazing.
  15. the potato trick works with diving goggles - maybe give it a try? Alternatively motorcycle stores like fullthrottle, mosskays etc... stock products to prevent helmet visors fogging up that work very well.
  16. "pick your favourite wheelsize, then be a dick about it" - awesome haha
  17. I say go mavic carbone - One of my buddies had a head on with a rangerover cutting across him in the traffic last year. He flipped over the bonnet and snapped his bike in 3 places. The Carbones he was using (which took the majority of the hit) did not buckle or even break a spoke - they probably saved his life.
  18. Get into Downhill or Dirtjumping, that will help scrape them off.
  19. wow, thats going be a really nice ride once she's done. Looks great so far.
  20. Is your ticket to rehab included in the R7k? Absolutely ridiculous.
