  1. try www.cyclismas.com, they love the Texan there and have all his stuff of their site.
  2. I have 7 RLV, hardly use them as what is the point proving to myself that I can't ride a 10% gradient for 90 minutes? The ReaL life training using Google earth for tracks you have downloaded from Garmin are great for re-riding stuff you have done. The real benefit comes from the watt training and the programmes you can load to drive your fitness.
  3. Easy way to tell them apart?
  4. Maybe autocorrect of regularly typed words...catches me out often on the tablet.
  5. I have had no hesitation in recommending easygis, they consistently deliver good service. And the best price.
  6. Worked like a dream, BBC track coverage was great. Mark Cavendish in studio, Chris Boardman doing the expert analyses. And crowd noise really gets one involved.
  7. Talk about humble, this AFTER taking his 5th gold medal.... Sir Chris in the Telegraph this morning: Typically, though, the Scot was his usual supremely modest self as he remained adamant afterwards that Sir Steve Redgrave cannot be topped as Britain’s greatest Olympian. “What he has achieved will never be bettered in terms of five consecutive Games,” said Hoy. “I’m delighted that I’ve got five gold medals but does that mean I am a better athlete or have achieved as much as him. “To even be mentioned in the same sentence as Steve Redgrave, you have got to pinch yourself. I watched him win his five gold medals and I used to do a bit of rowing myself. It’s kind that people are talking about me but Steve did it for five consecutive games in such a physically demanding sport. “And then there was Bradley’s seven medals. He’s a superstar, he’s a megastar. I watched him on telly last night and he’s not just a good bike rider, he’s an entertaining bloke, a man of the people and just great.”
  8. A video by Jon Snow, a cyclist and news reader in UK http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_P_mPOEbvY
  9. That's DSTV's fault, not the Brits. DSTV have bought the cheap seats for their Olympic coverage. The BBC commentators in the rowing called it right. You get what you pay for.
  10. Sky interview with King Wiggins http://www.skysports.com/video/free/0,23791,19599_7958159,00.html

  12. Nice down to earth interview on the morning after http://www.skysports.com/video/free/0,23791,19599_7958159,00.html
  13. No. PnP don't do it as the Americans have no interest in it. However the days of DSTV telling you what you can watch are over with live streaming of every cycle race and other sporting event worldwide. And you get to choose the commentary you want and what language you want.
  14. It was, but the commentator (the same guy who did the world cup final) thought the SA boat was the Aussie boat when they crossed the line! "Australia have won it!" Then the result came up and he said "South Africa came from nowhere to win it!" Didn't matter though, we could see boat no 5 was the winner.
  15. Average speed of 63 kph over 750m from a standing start. That is seriously quick. Sir Chris is a winner, 5th gold medal and he still cries during the anthem. What a man. Just awesome racing tonight.
  16. Rider 2 is not allowed to lead going into lap 2. This means they must be behind when they go over the line. Now if only our hero Gerald the Cock could explain this. Prick.
  17. with 100m to go they were nowhere, commentator calling Australia going to take gold, then when they crossed the line realised South Africa had won. Classic! And great to see all four guys shouting the anthem out, not just mumbling it.
  18. All day, and tomorrow and the next day, and the next day, and the next day 3 times already in the last hour! And I love it!
  19. It's fine the way it is....
  20. On the whole these auctions have worked really well for a loooong time. Now all of a sudden there are new products on a shorter auction and some guys are crying foul. The offers from ASG are stunning, a great deal and some fun on the auction. Not many guys get pissed at the way it is run, it would be a shame for 1 or 2 disgruntled hubbers to spoil it for the rest of us. Please asg, keep the auctions. If anything just clarify the cut-off as "a bid with 23:00" or "a bid with 22:59"
  21. That was amazing, not even in the picture and BOOM! GOLD!
  22. The drone of the motorbike was no worse than the drone of Gerald the Cock. Fortunately both were missing from the EuroSport stream. I'm trying this today: http://lifehacker.com/5930437/how-an-american-can-stream-the-bbcs-official-olympics-coverage-and-overcome-nbcfail
  23. The bike used is the British Institute of Sport's own bike, developed on the track and adapted for the road and TT. FroomeDog rode a Gaal today.
  24. The difference between a 12 and 11 is less top end speed for same cadence while a 28 v 25 is easier spinning on the steeper hills. Because you have 10 cogs with a difference of 16 on a 12-28 as opposed to 14 on a 11-25 the step ups are slightly larger which may mean difficulty in finding a comfortable gear to use. Only you can decide if you want to push different gears when racing.
  25. I'd recommend Enticement, he's here on the hub and isn't shy to stick to his beliefs. This will benefit you when you start slacking.
