  1. They still are the official Importer and Distributor. Any cycleshop dealing with them will be able to get if they have stock
  2. Finishtime = Racetec (They bought racetec? As far as I know)
  3. I got a "your concern has been noted" from a mail last week. So basically "kiss my ass" but just nicer. I like them. 😆
  4. Safety was no issue. Good hard race and I really enjoyed it. I have decided to not do this race again for the following reasons. Race number pickup bull ****. I sat 4 hour in traffic on Thursday just to pick up a piece of useless paper. When are these organisers going to be held accountable for wasting peoples time and money??? And VERY important, where is the environmental responsibility......???? I would love to know how much EXSTRA fossil fuels were burnt just to pick up a number that I can print at home??? Give me a QR code that I can scan at the starting block to gain entry to the event. I can print my number for 50c in color. I spent R200 fuel plus half day leave at work just to get a number. Boils my blood. Seeding was CRAP. South Africa cycling does not have a seeding system anymore. We are forced to pay CSA (racing license) to get a better start time. Timing system can improve. The chip is horrible. The mounting system is cheap and can be improved a lot. Give me a permanent chip and number (while you are at it) like 94.7 that I can use every year for your series of races. The results were not correct for the A batch and I can only imagine for the rest of the groups.
  5. Single sided on the MTB. Double sided on the road bike. I cannot really tell the difference. 1min avg and 5min avg are pretty much aligned for what I need it.
  6. 4 years after the event? Must have had a *** lawnmower.
  7. In other words the whole of the SA pro peleton? 😁
  8. I have last ridden road bike in CT in 2017. So I would assume you are fairly save. 😁
  9. LOVE my bike. Bike is a little more stiff than the previous Evo ed3. Integration works just fine. I know the local importers do have stock of limited sizes in this color at the moment. You should ask your LBS to find out what is available. WRT powermeter, I have opted for the Power2Max.
  10. Vang nou eers. Bhahhahaha. Ja pieman........... Is this one pink on the inside also?
  11. I have a friend that lives there. They do ride there often but the tracks are no longer maintained. Almost overgrown at the moment after the summer rains. I think the locals still has a "club" there going but not open to the public as far as I know. Closest now is "Die Bosveld"
  12. Trick is. Set up a "lap avg power" field on the device. Start a lap and work towards your goal avg watt by working with just that field.
  13. Size 11 with some tissues to stuff in the front? Eish
  14. It's okay. No harm. No foul. For whatever reason they are not available, in the time they have not responded, I have done my order online and will get the shipment later next week. No worries. Keep on taking it easy. 😉
  15. 🤣 Now the Capie wakes fully and encage.........
  16. If you have been ANYWHERE near cycling in the past 25 years, your path would have crossed Cape Cycle Systems. And if you tell me you have had a good experience, you would be the first guy I heard off. I hope I did not bother your mid afternoon mid January midlife nap..........
  17. Maybe a perception? Or just a function of which part you choose to use for the stat: Having a quick look, I would use this section as the "north side" of Swartberg. https://www.strava.com/segments/10601836 If true, then South side is easier.
  18. Using a formula I have picked up on another site: Kinda useful in comparing climbs in general
  19. Hi Monique Cycling as a family is pretty awesome. You'll be able to rent some bikes at Rosemary Hill. Also, keep a look-out for demo days at Wolwespruit where you can test out pretty awesome bikes at Trek.
  20. Exactly what I was thinking. 🤣 Shamepies, ne. hehehehehehe My avg TSS per week sits at 750 for the past 5 weeks with an all time avg (10 year data) of 593 per week. Every week. 10 years. 46 year old with family and a 8-5 job. Time to get out of the comfort zone. All said above.......... I have more than 5-10 friends that LAUGHS at the stats above. Five of them doing 3 TIMES more than I do. (35 000km per year racing and riding and racing a lot.) So even I am not even CLOSE to being really, really "uncomfortable" and the human limits can be pushed even further. Point of the mambling. Your body is an amazing tool. If you use it correctly and train it well, you can do amazing things.
  21. A better question....... Does virtual rides EVER count?
