  1. Die mense word HONGER!
  2. Jip, Pembi group will be a good start. Also, hook up with one or two bike shop rides. You have LCC that has regular interactions and a good whatssapp communication based info and rides. Single track cycles used to have a ride or two during the week as well as Hotspot Cycles (back in the day.........don't know if they are still active) Same goes for Cyclelab that also has a ride here and there. For now under COVID jail conditions I suppose you cannot "organise" something so rather stick to bike parks for now if you like the "group" ride thing. Cowshed, Rosemary Hill and Tierpoort Adeventure Farm out in the East are great parks to ride routes and get fit on.
  3. Dude. Wake up and smell the coffee. Or at LEAST open your eyes. Please.

  9. Okay. Couple of questions. 100 HR seems low. How old are you? If you are 20 something you are idling. If you are 90 year old you might be near your max.100 HR seems low. Do you use a chest HR strap or do you get your HR from your wrist? As someone pointed out. Tits. Tim In The Saddle. Start with 20min a day rather than going for 20km. Work 20% more every week. Until you reach your desired training distance. With other words.........start slow and work from there.
  10. Short user of the 12sp XT here. (Long time SRAM user) All is working perfect at this stage with around 1000km done. The only thing I can fault is the trigger shifter down shift button is positioned crappy. You can just, just touch it with your thumb. You can get around it by throwing money at the problem and getting the I-Spec II version of the shifter that then integrates with the brakes and that will help with the spacing.
  11. Third incident I have heard of in a week in the Waterkloof area. Sad. Good luck! Will keep an eye out
  12. Guess I am the odd one out then looking at all this......... 1.83 sitting on a medium Scalpel. 100mm stem, offset seatpost of around 15mm is think. Works perfect. Slowbee.........not sure where in the world you are these days but welcome to take the 'Dale out for a spin if you are in or near Pretoria.
  13. Small klimmetjie in Pretoria topping out at 20% gradient. https://www.strava.com/segments/798596?filter=overall

  16. You mean a new bike.....why stop at the jockey wheels? Any excuse would do really.
  17. That makes sense yes.
  18. Maybe the new App will connect and update? I remember that at some stage the Qalvin app stopped being supported and they went over to the SRAM app. Not 100% sure thought but worth a shot yes?
  19. According to HA Toere which hosts, among others, the Panorama Tour and Mpumalanga tour, said on a FB post that the "extra rules" are about 75 pages and not worth it.
  20. Same as on the Supersix Evo. The axel has a little slot and your remove it about 1cm and the wheel drops out. Works very well.
