  1. I'd say Scott. Especially for the fork
  2. Was wondering the same thing
  3. I have both, and If I were to choose 1, it would be the 26" Dual Suss. 120mm travel preferably. The 29er Hardtail handles most of the climbs better than the dual Suss. Depends on what riding you wanna do too. Don't expect the 29er hardtail to give you a smoother or equivalent ride on the rough stuff...... THAT IS A MYTH.
  4. 36 hole is overkill. I was 130kg riding 32hole WTB i23...... never had to true. I'm a bit lighter now. Probably won't use any other wheel. And 2year later...... they still look good. After 200km and a few washes my ZTR's looked like krap.
  5. WTB frequency i19 or i23 on hope hubs.
  6. I had 2 sets of wheels built on novatec hubs....... it was a real disappointment. I had to get rid of it soon. I do not service wheels....... but as a rider..... nah. Had to replace the bearings after 50km...... and the freehub body after 25km...... no thanks.
  7. I think the person who posted the event here could have been more active with the marketing. The far stand would have been filled as well...... even though there was no shade.
  8. No...... I'm an MTBer...... :-) But as a spectator....... great day out
  9. It was my first event. ......... I will definitely be going back again. The spectators were awesome. Great day.
  10. My experience with ArchEX is tgat not all tubeless tyres fit easily on them, then I could not get the tyre bead to seat perfectly either...... they would seat, but tge tyre always had a bit of a wobble, luke the wheel was out of true. This was With 3 different brands of tyre. The WTB frequency range is exactly the opposite. Tyres seat perfectly. The rims are stronger, and costs about 40% cheaper. ...... and there's about a 3g difference in weight.
  11. I have never been disappointed in any WTB products I have owned. ..... and I tip at 125kg
  12. Yes...... but what does it say about the product? I would like my frame to be replaced ZERO times.
  13. That's what I'm running on my bikes
  14. The Specialized tyres average around R450 each for the Tubeless ready. They are lighter and cheaper than almost anything out there. Fast Trak for Hard Pack, and Ground Control if you need a bit more traction.
  15. 2.0 is the best. The Fast Trak is Under Measured, so they are probably the same width as a competitors 2.1 or 2.2 in some cases. This is due to the different measuring techniques from different brands.
  16. found it....... Thanks
  17. facebook link please?
  18. Sag settings are just a guide. Different riders have different techniques. And the type of trail makes a difference too. If you feel it's too soft, add more air until you are happy. I ended up adding air, then taking out again a few weeks later. Set it up until you're comfortable. And you probably won't get it perfect after your first ride anyway. Sometimes trial and error is best to get your ride dialled in.
  19. Amazing gloves. A bit pricey, but worth every cent. Tough to keep clean. .... because you can't throw them in the washing machine. .....
  20. I have both XT trail and 530's. If you have the cash..... go for the XT trail. If you don't. .... the 530 is perfect. The larger cage gives your shoes a bit more purchase on the pedal. Also the repair and maintenance is cheaper/easier rhan XT's
  21. You always hear about silverback frame warranty claims after the frame breaks. I haven't heard of those Big9 frames breaking. ...... like I said. It's an observation.
  22. Merida....... you don't hear much of those frames breaking. ...... just an observation.
  23. How well will that fit a Xperia?
  24. Just get a hard case for the phone. ...... use old reflector clamps to mount it to the stem or bars
  25. WTB frequency i23 650b custom build....... the rims come in around R600
