  1. well you picked Sags, 988 out of the 1200 have got him in their team - so when he wins, nothing changes

    Gavirria - 398 picks

    Kittel 488 picks.

so nothing unique in your selection there, just yet!

the 67 who picked Kristoff or 15 guys who picked colbrelli can be happy for now

Hmm . I’ve picked Colbrelli the Cool. Still styling in 1209 th place tho .

Maybe should have gone with this Sagan fella after all . Who knew ?

  2. What a MotoGp race yesterday.   . Guys swapping spots (and paint) in every corner, looked like a Moto3 race.

MM93 just showed his class again, the title is his for the taking this year.

VL46 was riding the wheels of that Yammie, but run out of luck, eventually.  But the pensioner showed the youngsters that he can still mix it up with them.

Yeah, best race I’ve watched in ages . The number of someone went from 1st to 3rd or 4th in one corner was incredible.

How’s Rossi just sliding through on that tight chicane each time.

  3. If ever there was a movie absolutely oozing latent homosexuality, it’s Top Gun.

    #justsaying

“ You, ( pointing finger at Maverick) , You are still dangerous, but you can be my wingman anytime “

    “Bulls^^t. You can be mine.”

Come now , stuff of legends .

  4. I see Top Gun 2 is currently being filmed . I’m worried . Behind Better off Dead , and Raising Arizona , Top Gun was the best movie ever , end of . Reckon I can recite the script word for word.

Not sure can repeat that 30 years later . Hope doesn’t end up like Point Break 2 or similar .

  5. Karkloof was brilliant

Which race route did you do Landy ? Were a couple of new slidy dropaway switchbacks on the new Bat out of hell section that made my eyes water a bit .

  6. Ok, quite a big bok squad. Not sure how many guys will get axed early on but looks good so far. Big surprise for me is Willie le Roux. No point in bringing him out here to sit on the side, and cannot possibly see how he could start ahead of Warwick Gelant?

    Let’s see

  7. Well now all I want is for them to win it and shove it in his face.

I'm at odds here..I get the need for playing IPL and getting the bucks to support you after you retire.... Bit your country should be your number one priority. He's not old and he's at his prime.

Are there politics going on we are not aware of?

Eish Stretch . AB been an absolute legend for us for ages and given his all . Why not respect the lad’s decision to retire and give credit for what he’s achieved. Life not that complicated.

It’s not his civic duty to tree aan for the World Cup ad for ever .

I say thanks for the memories AB , you’ve always made us proud and all the very best to you brother

  8. AB such a legend . Reckons in the IPL MoM interview with Harsha Bogle that he “felt like a Padda” for getting out. Not sure how many viewers world Over would have understood that. He’s just brilliant, and such a good ou

  9. She speaks!!!

Little Miss Chubby-Cheeks has spoken some words in the last few days: "Letta" (One of her teachers is named Coletta); "Odi" (the German Shephard who has guarded her since the day her parents first brought her home); and either "Pappa" or "baba" - they aren't quite sure of that one just yet.

Aah Man. Hearing your child learning to speak is the most blessed thing for a parent . Brilliant.
  10. Joe Cools on the Durban Promenade in the 90's. Many a litre was consumed there on a weekend! Jugs of beer at the Berea Inn after tech during the week (should have spent more time at the afternoon tutorials instead....) Lunchtime at the Winston. Student night at Sand Pebbles on a Tuesday night. That little underground place called Ruby Tuesday close to LTP. Ports was another beachfront club. The Scrapyard, CC's... So many memories!

Hey Grebel, can you remember the name of the pub at the Tech in the late 80s . Above the hockey field,

  11. Too many senior experienced guys gone to Kolpak or elsewhere . Specifically Colin Ingram , smoking it in BBL, would be ideal to call on . Alas he's no more .

Hopefully Themba be fit before the series ends . He's surely the obvious replacement for Quinny at 1. Farhaan is a must to come in , always reliable .

  12. Not fond of bashing ones team when they take a pounding , but man that’s a shocker . Best win rates of great teams in ODIs around early 60% ratios, so always gonna lose up to 40% of games over a cycle. But not like that.

Few lads on shaky ground in the middle order I reckon. Quite a different feel to the side that was unbeaten in 17 digs.

    Hope they can pull finger.
