Aiden Markram surely . I understand he’s fit again
Or Temba open and bring Hamza back , he’s top of the run charts in the one day cup
Aiden and Reeza both got hundreds today. Suddenly there seems a few solid options . Dean Elgar never going let us down either
We need some consistency though. Will be interesting to see who they bring in for Janneman Malan as that Hammy injury looks like he is out the rest of the series for sure.

Just entered and it will be my first my first triathalon.
Im a failry decent runner, did a marathon last year, and can do argus in 3h20
The swim is my weakness, im a strong swimmer but not fast.
My main concern is the swim. Is open water swimming really that much tougher than the pool?
My goal is to fiinish. i dont want to crawl over the line but i also dont need to race. So i need a good training programme for the above goals.
I have 15 weeks to get fit.
Any advice for a noob.
As suggested by Shaper, try do some open water ,particularly surf swims if you can. Sea conditions here in Durban vary daily, and if the tide is pushing in on race day over the sandbank, can get bumpy on the way out.
Trick is to stay calm and try not waste too much energy on getting out through the surf, just take it easy, and once through the break, then settle into your swimming rhthym. I’ve surfed and swum here for most of my life and still find it way harder than the pool.
Hopefully race day will be perfect weather with easy surf and you’ll get treated to Durban’s finest
Wow , that’s sad. I really admired Nicole for what she did here , and really enjoyed the interactions and chats I gad with her . Very courageous lady. RIP Nicole.
Cooked the most beautiful steak last night . CW said there’s 2 pieces , just cook one and freeze the other. Nope , I’m gonna cook both , one for dinner and keep one for lunch tomorrow ( today). All good
Ate the one while watching Sharks clobber the Bulls, then went to the kitchen to put the other piece away. Found an empty board where the meat was , and my beautiful brave disciplined German Shepherd sitting proudly next to the counter with the last bit of my steak in her mouth.....
CW not so impressed
Ah, I'm happy to take your bait.
Please elaborate as to what I need to open my eyes to?
I stated that I don't believe any professional cyclist is 100% clean.
I stated that I will crucify any cyclist that is found guilty, Saffer or not.
I stated that I have moved on from a Black/White world to a Greyscale continuum.
I'm saying now, if yall want to crucify Impey, who hasn't been found guilty of Jack S%^#, you can go ahead and crucify all your cycling heroes: MvdP, WvA, Froome, Nibali, Evenepoel, the whole frikken lot. Because what is the yardstick then if we don't abide by die rules of the anti doping agencies?
PS. This is not an attack on you as a person Spinnekop, love you man
What does percentage clean have to do with it. Surely no sliding scale here. 100% clean means clean . 99% clean means unclean doesn’t it ?
Edit
I like the new layout , looks great.
However ,why not have all active forum topics listed in the scrolling block on the home page, including what’s listed under “off topic discussion “?
Lots of us read those threads regularly and would be easier not to have to click through menu tabs to find.
Right, managed to settle down after that. Hectic.
So , let’s be clear . Our Boks are in the World Cup Final boys and girls. Be proud and excited. This is a BIG WEEK.
Anyone coming with “ yes but we kick too much and it isn’t pretty “ stories can keep it to themselves this week. There have only ever been max 2 weeks like this before in any of our lifetimes to date, and we going to enjoy it.
Bok Family, rest well tonight
He's like a jack Russell. A nuisance for anyone around the mall and the scrum
Jack Russells shouldn’t be allowed near the mall anyway . Unless they a guide dog.
But we weren’t playing NZ or England . We were playing Japan . And we won easily .This kicking game plan worked against Japan because they are physically inferior to the boks. You do the same thing against NZ or England and they will f... us up 6 love because they are as physical as the boks. You can't spend 80% of the game tackling against a side that matches you physically.
Wait till next game for a modified tactic
We’re in the World Cup semis . This is a week to be proud and look forward , not backwards . Next week is a brand new game ,that’s never been touched . Forget how many box kicks were bad today , doesn’t matter anymore . We won. Bring on Wales .
One more game and we in the final . Time to focus
The footage of the ABs and Steve Hansen interacting with Rory Best after the game is why they are so widely respected. Respect for rugby is a huge deal for them. That’s why AB vs Bok final will always be the ultimate in a World Cup.
Joe Schmidt was very gracious afterwards, and spot on when he said they were world class just a year too early.
Absolutely. I’m a huge fan of Japan and their rugby style, and Wales my second side by heritage and by choice, so zero disrespect.2 matches to get there first
But we aren’t going to lose tomorrow . And against Wales in the semis, well if we don’t play properly on the day and beat them then we don’t deserve to be in the final.
But if we don’t make the final , the ABs will sew 2019 onto the sleeve of their jerseys as well.
I really believe we are the only side who can beat the ABs, and only if we get it completely right tactically and technically. All forward we can match and beat them , and create space by running off 9 and 10 . But got to assume they going to get outside us 2 or 3 times at least , that’s just what they do , so going have to score 3 or 4 times to win .
Get it wrong and we toast but we got a shot this time
ABs are so well structured and organized . Hold hold hold hold , them you make a small mistake and they burn you.
They also peak and plan perfectly for World Cup cycles . Do lose games in between while building , but come WC , they golden.

Initial response to an event we been looking forward to being cancelled easily one of frustration or disappointment. However , that’s decidedly the wrong response. We should actually be saying, great news, the sporting feds and governments are doing the right thing by cancellations and precautions.
Likely every one of us at some point will be affected directly or indirectly by this thing.
So, no whining from anyone about a canceled race , or event , or marathon , or meeting , or holiday, or Sunday Braai.
