  1. "printed"
  2. You mean positive?
  3. I have the Lefty Carbon XLR on my bike, and I had a Reba on my old bike, and to be honest, for my kind of riding, which is XC it works perfectly. Besides the maintaining it which is quite a hassle, (needs 2 services a year) It is the best shock I've had. Granted i've only had 3, but for XC I can't imagine theres much better out there. And if one is racing then the weight is important . Maybe you haven't had any real experience with a Lefty?
  4. Power2Max, a german company, (quite new) have come out with a power meter. Comes with the rotor crank and you can choose double/triple and a ratio... Price is pretty tame compared to the other competitors, they don't ship to SA though, so you;d need to find somebody coming from Europe, looks good though! Their support is also really good.
  5. Yup, I can ride at 190 for 30mins with relative ease. So according to my Garmin my HR went up to 249!!, Now i see it's been there twice. Both at the beginning of a the ride. Is that possible or should I not trust the garmin? Previous max was 232 and before 223... Caffeine also gets my HR to 210 in less than a minute
  6. Hey guys, Anybody had any experiences with them? Their responses to my e-mails are very quick, pitty they don't deliver to SA. Pricing looks very competitive... http://power2max.de/power2max.php?lang=en - If you want to take a look, MTB as well.
  7. are they yours or are you about to buy them? out of interest.
  8. It would be a single speed without breaks.
  9. personal preference. Nothing more to it than that.
  10. Wasn't the question about routes? Do C'lab ride from northgate?
  11. I know that giant make one, but its for a teardrop shaped aero seatpost...
  12. I'm super happy with my 2010 TCR, had it for a year now (nearly) and not a single problem. Not going to buy another brand of road bike in a hurry. Gonna go for the ISP one in a few years time. Just find it difficult to believe that something would have so many problems without some of them being down to the user.
  13. but why? It will only make the somersault possible on a road bike for a trigger finger rookie... Maybe coming down alpine passes it would be nice, but I don't think it will ever reach professional level (used in tours etc) Anyhow, I won't be making any plans to accommodate them anytime soon.
  14. they look gross.
  15. +1, why not come to CT for a weekend?
  16. Canoeing, I think.
  17. Apparently hermanus traffic was at the centre of the decision...not sure why though. Anyhow, for the people who would have spent 7-8hours on the saddle, with the rain, mud and wetness, it would not have been enjoyable. Disappointing they cancelled though, should've let the A group ride to fight for a winner. Or anybody who wanted to go, understand the riders signed indemnity forms, they've already paid for the event, why not let them ride if they want to?
  18. Try Buycycle.co.za, they have some.
  19. I have a pair of the olympics mentioned above, used once, 29km. Been cleaned and selling for R400 if you're interested, size 10.
  20. aren't the new xtr's integrated with the shifters?
  21. All my accessories are imported by ASG, the items they sell are always good quality, and their service as seen above is excellent.
  22. Rydons usually cost around R1800-R2000 so getting them for R800 is already very good. Lenses that i've seen are around R600 so i'd say your dad is getting a good deal.
  23. Cannondale Save seatpost is amazing if you can get hold of one, very expensive and limited though...
  24. Who assembled the bike for you? or did you do it yourself?
  25. I'm sure one of the bike shops would be happy to help out if you promised some sort of exposure for them?
