I have Elexirs and had this same problem - solved by taking the pads out and wiping them clean by cloth after every wash.

A dually makes rough terrain, downhills and long distance rides more fun. If you want a hardtail just lock out the rear.

At that price go for the one with the best front suspension. I think that will be the Talon 0.

To ride a ht over rough terrain is worse than riding a dually over smooth terrain, especially since the rear can lock out. For long rides there is nothing better than a 29er dually.

Directional chain - Right side is optimized for front shifting and left side is optimized for rear shifting. Aint XT great?

Under stress you will have flex in the tire, rim, spokes, and fork, all adding up to the total amount of flex. The thru-axle will reduce the total amount of front end flex.
