  1. The question is what size, not what make and size. We dont care about make here only size. I ride extra medium warra warra who cares?
  2. BergForce

    MATIE bikes

    Thats a chickbike
  3. To ride a ht over rough terrain is worse than riding a dually over smooth terrain, especially since the rear can lock out. For long rides there is nothing better than a 29er dually.
  4. Directional chain - Right side is optimized for front shifting and left side is optimized for rear shifting. Aint XT great?
  5. Ikon exo front and back.
  6. Under stress you will have flex in the tire, rim, spokes, and fork, all adding up to the total amount of flex. The thru-axle will reduce the total amount of front end flex.
  7. Dont encourage them one day in like 3 years time when my front Ikon wears out there wont be stock.
  8. Silverback Storm is a better deal than this.
  9. Sorry I think the Auz web site where I saw that is wrong. Check out the new Silverback Storm also.
  10. Rocket Ron front Racing Ralph back for winter and Houw Hoek. For Karoo2Coast Ralphs front and back.
  11. Great! Cyclelab has got some very nice 29er tubes Velorides.
  12. SA roads are too dangerous to do cycling on. Motorists will never wake up, and as long as there are cyclists sharing the road with cars, these fatal accidents will continue to happen.
  13. For out of breath you need some cardio like spinning in the gym or road biking and to get some strength do gym weight training. As for the weight weenine thing everyone can do as they please with their money no problem, the end.
  14. Not so good prices on some items though
  15. What this what that warrawarra? Jinx binx I got a red bike warrablahblahbloob. What if blahblahbloob is a noob? Go be a roadkill whoooooop banmebanmeshwoooooop?
  16. We talking xc here not downhill, and I dont need super grip, and what 360life got has nothing do to with wear and all about punctures - it happens to all tyres.
  17. Wait till some dirt gets on it.
  18. But the Ikon has got great grip and lasts super long, thats why I like it, so go have an egg
  19. Whatever you dont get a road bike!
  20. The 2011 came out with non-ust Crossmarks which does not work well tubeless, then again the Ralphs on the 2012 are tubeless ready but they are not the Snakeskins. So maybe the 2011 is the better option if you want a proper tubeless setup with proper tires. The Ralphs will work but the danger of a sidewall cut is high. The other difference is the 2011 has the RP23 shock and the 2012 got the RP2, the only diff is the RP23 got 3 propedal settings. I have the 2011 and I use propedal settings 1 and 3 all the time. What I`m saying is I think you made the right choice.
  21. Get a R30-40k mtb and go do a few Alps mtb tours in our winter.
  22. You gonna struggle to get hold of Ikons 26". The Racing Ralph snakeskin is also a good tyre for the front, it will last a bit longer.
  23. They dont like them tar
  24. No get the Ikon Exo. Schwables wear out too quickly.
