Don't know how much faster but there is a big difference between stock wheels and carbon wheels in weight and ride or power transfers. When racing with vets every little bits help.

I know this topic has been discuss but I don"t know what my next wheels should be? Looking for a set for my new Venge so don"t know if I should go for tubbies or clinchers. If I go clinchers I am looking at dark horse or a pair of used Zipps. Wheels will be used only for racing. I raced with the vets 2 or 3 years ago and looking to go back next year. I saw you get a tape with glue so that you can repair -tubbies or replace on the road. I am not bothered about weight because I am currently loosing between 600-800 grams a week. Just another 9 kg to go. Thanks

Full road closure? Did this race about 6 years ago when it was Joburg toughest race. 116km of pure torture. I am considering doing it this year but agree a bit pricey

I would say garmin as well. Check out www.easygis.co.za as well. They prices was lower than the other shops and I only received good service from Matthew.

You have a 3 year warranty on the parts and 5 year on the frame and I agree with Thomo in the bb. When you sprint all you see is smoke and black marks on the road. Nice

Looks like I will be doing or trying for the comrades 2016 but before I would like to ho for a running analysis to ensure I get the correct shoe, high arch and all. Any advice of some one in Boksburg who van help if you can price as well

According to the website there is only a concept store in CT but will gibe them a call tomorrow. I am leaning to SL4 or the Trek Madone 5.2. I can upgrade the wheels at the end of May if i take the SL4.

I am in Secunda so will have to buy in JHB and PTA. I would like to see the bike before I buy.

my old bike was a Merida scultura evo 904 with easton ea90 sl wheels.

If I take the Trek I must wait until November for the wheel upgrade. Spoke to Ben at CL Fourways and he said the Trek is the best bike. I don't know which way to go. The worst thing is I can't sleep

Budget is R30k to R40k and size 56

I am no mountain goat but can hold my own on the flats. Raced vets last year and looking to get to the vets next year if all goes well.
