  1. Only a matter of time before we move to our house in Simonstown . I suppose you can wait now that you don't have the Trek anymore.
  2. You already know them, distance is a bit of a problem though
  3. And if you look at the last pic you will all know whose bike has the problem with the Bottle Cage Bolts .
  4. C'mon BG where's the pic's? But don't the one on with the chainguard or BigBen will be after you again.
  5. And Bianchi! Yes Cruxie, And Bianchi!
  6. There is one big problem with version 2.0 which is that the Garmin sometimes combines rides on subsequent days into one ride (I think it decides based on ending and starting location). Version 1.3 of SportTracks automatically splits the rides based on the time difference between them. This function has not yet been implemented in Version 2.0. It caused me big problems a few weeks back and I went back to Version 1.3
  7. Have tried oil but the inserts are so loose that they turn quite easily.
  8. I have someone else's bike here and it has a problem I can't solve. The bottle cage bolts have been overtightened previously and now the inserts in the frame are turning so it is impossible to remove the bolts again. Anyone know of a solution? I could drill them out but can I get new inserts fitted somewhere. It is an alloy frame.
  9. Not quite sure that you wrote what you meant to say. Shimano does not have an easy remove option. You need a chaintool to remove the chain which is a pain in the arse. You can do the same with Campy chains but you need to replace the pin. Best options for any chain is a quick link from Wipperman' date=' SRAM, KNC, and all chains are removeable with a simple bend and twist.[/quote'] On the above note, I picked up some SRAM PowerLock links the otherday (not Powerlink). Only when I read the destructions did I see they seem to be for single use only i.e. once joined you cannot separate them. Anyone used them?
  10. Pantani, you didn't perhaps see how epoh stretched all of us up Northcliff Hill?
  11. Ok, I think as you said earlier, if there was any hint of head or neck impact then the person should me made to lie still, preferably with someone supporting the neck etc. However this is all in a perfect world with plenty of assistants etc. Sounds like spiderman was lucky he didn't suffer any further damage.
  12. Turboman, out of interest, how did you then put him in the car? Would the best thing to do not be to get an ambulance with spine board etc. or is that what you did? Glad he is ok though.
  13. I actually don't even think it is an enforcement issue, it is a culture thing. In Europe people are brought up to be courteous and to respect each other, they don't give cyclists right of way because they think they might get caught if they don't. They just think it is the correct thing to do. Unfortunately I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel here, every day you see more and more motorists adopting the attitude of "if you can't beat them join them" and driving in the emergency lanes etc. We need more tolerance and respect in this country and that doesn't just apply to driving on the roads either.
  14. But then do you clean it after soaking in a detergent and lube with proper lube?
  15. 8am
  16. Check out SportTracks software, it's free and very useful. You can also export directly to a Google Earth kml file. http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/SportTracks/ Enjoy your toy .
  17. So ewep also can't fix cars .
  18. Cool
  19. I saw that, I think you should just close it down (can you do that on facebook?).
