  1. Is it bran? I thought it was sawdust. The things we have to do to lose weight .
  2. If it doesn't involve stripping anything to lube it I think R30-R40 would be fair. Anything else (such as remove and clean cables or jockeys etc) have separate prices. Do we get a free tjokkit ???
  3. Joe Low, the road parallel to the N14 is VERY badly potholed and narrow (the one past Northern Farms), also used by lots of taxis and trucks, I would not ride that road.
  4. If I was doing the 24hr solo on a singlespeed I think I would be out 8 hours a day training . Good luck. Will probably see you there, only problem is it clashes with the Ian Kernick 200km audax which is also a cool ride.
  5. Did have that problem once, didn't know about the reset buttons but if you leave it until the batteries go flat and then turn it on again it also resets.
  6. Howzit holy I find the only way to stay motivated is to have a goal or target. Have you entered any races? When I got back from France in July I took a few weeks break and then I entered the 94.7 so I knew that I had to train for it. Then you have to do the mind thing and start imaging your self acheiving your goal, staying with your bunch, winning your category or acheiving a personal best, whatever it might be. What are your plans for the rest of the year?
  7. Jeez, seems like all threads are being hijacked today . narra and epoh, I will not be here this weekend but Sonic is going to the Telkom race starting in A. epoh you can park at our place and then you guys can collect narra on the way out. Will check with Sonic and let you know.
  8. Muxie A few weeks ago I also posted a request with the same problem. I have sorted mine but stupidly did two things at once so not sure which fixed it. I tightened the seat post clamp to the correct setting and I also lubed the pedal axles. If it comes back I will just check one thing at a time and let you know.
  9. Steynja glad to hear the knee is ok, don't go and overdo things now though. Zaskar at work nice and early today?
  10. Ha Ha Ha, and what if i get dizzy and fall in? If i could swim I would also be doing the Tri. IanJ2007-10-19 01:15:17
  11. Ok Sonic is doing the Energade Tri thing at Germiston Lake this weekend. I am going along to support him but want to do a training ride first. Suggestions for a route please starting and finishing at Germiston Lake for about 2.5hrs.
  12. What aspect of the organisation is bad?
  13. As a matter of interest do you know that more than 70% of all Land Rovers ever built (in nearly 60 years) are still operational. Not many makes of vehicle can make that claim. But yes they do leak oil, I got into big trouble at my office when I used my Range Rover to go to work some time back.
  14. Ok thanks ewep and sias for the explanation, haven't heard that one before.
  15. Please vertaal of explain vir die engelsman .

Ok will try the lubing parts bit, I will try individual components one by one and will let you know what I find. Thanks for the feedback, think I will start with the pedals although I have already changed pedals too.

Don't want to hijack but I do my own bike building/servicing but I have an annoying problem that I can't solve so am about to give up and take it to the LBS. On both my previous Bianchi frame and the current one I am getting a clicking noise on every revolution of the cranks. I have stripped and rebuilt the BB (with grease), stripped and retightened the left crank arm and tightened the chainwheel bolts, sometimes it goes away for a few days and then comes back to haunt me. Any ideas?
