  1. i emailed them for a quote and was impressed with their service .Good reviews also
  2. I recognize the trail tech bike .I also ride a Kona hei hei with 120mm fox 34 in front .Very happy so far .Barzo in front and ikon 2,35 rear works well for me
  3. The big question is .Canhttps://youtu.be/0_zeHWK0iE0 you wheelie an ebike
  4. Beautiful .Will go well with my orange silicon grips
  5. Marathon entry for sale .0834411061
  6. As expected !
  7. Signs of Zumanomics filtering thru the whole country .Seeded in B .Last road event was Tshwane classic
  8. Buy an old bike that you put on the Kickr permanently and adjust the seat height accordingly .Any cheap Hardtail will do with 2 x10 setup
  9. Rode in 2013 .Footage of the dry run looks amazing .Whole route is lush and green .Keeping things clean and dry is going to be a challenge .Probably the best event i have done
  10. I am looking for an entry please ?
  11. I can confirm that n is indeed 8 .The bike permanently on the IDT also counts
  12. Not ideal MTB area .Rideable area behind golf coarse .Rather leave the bike and hike a plenty
  13. This is when vigilantism stars making sense
  14. The small ,10 tooth cog, looks fine .Then the rest would also be fine
  15. This makes sense .I have a sram 1 x 10 that works fine and also shimano 1 x 11 .However i still run a 2 x 10 XT and will stick to that .It just works so well i don,t want to mess with it .1 x anything is not the ultimate .Shimano 2 x 11 was still the best gear setup i have ridden to date .Except for eagle ,all the 1 x setups wear the small cogs to fast imo
  16. Was done a couple of years back ,under local ,in theater ,by urologist .I still had discomfort after a six month period .My wife could discontinue hormonal birth control ,and that made a huge difference in her emotional state .If only for the latter reason it was worth it ,and i have three children already
  17. Wanted to do it ,but doing Route 66 instead .Now i don,t have to wait a year
  18. It gets hot !! and the climbs are steep .90% of Merino can be walked if your gearing is wrong, but you can still end midfield .Enjoy !
  19. With 32 x 46 at the back ,you should be able to ride everything .32 x 50 is so slow ,you will struggle to keep upright .I reckon the smallest in front with a 50 at the back should be a 34 or even better a 36 oval .I am going to try out 1 x 12 this desember .Currently on 34 x 11 -46 .Top end on 32 x 10 is also to slow imo
  20. Sometimes they delaminate ,but this has happened to me with a Swalbe Tyre also
  21. Also 100kg rider .Personally i like a nobby nick in front for grip and the Vittorio barzo front and Vittorio saguaro rear works for me .I am not a fan of a heavy tyre in front .2,35 width is enough if you have a wider rim like 25mm and more
  22. Rode from my home and back .Loved all of it and the new section was welcome .Also liked the church square detour . Kudos to the marshals especially near the prison for handling the traffic
  23. No incidents on KK itself ,but after hours house breakin attempts from KK side .The active criminal group were all arrested and now the access is sort of controlled .I ride there often and so do a lot of other cyclists and runners .Contact Rob on WA 0825756708 and ask to be added to the klapperkop NR safety group
  24. I can recommend Vittorio Barzo/Saguaro combo and also maxxis ikon/ardent combo .If you ride often the continental X-king,s work well .They are light and strong but will go flat and perish if not used regularly .As a grippy front tyre Swalbe Nobby nic is also a good choice .Obviously all except the vittorio in the extra sidewall protection versions,
