After my Fast One fall I have now replaced the broken right STI and RD, replaced the bar tape (was black before) and fitted these wheels I got recently. The front had a small crack that has been repaired by Macarbi hence the 'white patch'!

I have only done 1 and would agree it was a great race but it is pretty tough with all the climbing! I must say that how close you are in ability to your partner does depend very much on the person ..... I rode it with an excellent guy who was not as strong as I was at the time. Right up front I was Ok with that and went out to enjoy myself which I most certainly did. I would hope that my encouragement helped him to have a good ride as well! Perhaps Delgado/R2D2 could comment as they were there

The best piece of advise I was given was START EVERY DAY, doesn't matter how bad you feel! Then my advice, focus on one day at a time don't worry too much about that big stage that's coming ......
