Can you honestly say you have BOUGHT something that has made you FASTER (not just a little but noticably!) Personally I must say I have not ....... I have only gone faster when I have trained harder or smarter (more effective ) I have some 'available' cash and I want to go faster

I train to make sure I'm not last, second last is OK but not stone last - it's tough

For the 'flow' and 'fun' and 'finding that euphoria' it brings ..... and stuff but not for racing apparently
