I know for sure that when I import my data into SportTracks from my Forerunner 301 that it always gives calories spent with or without my HR belt on. Guess it's clevererer than we thought ............ As IanJ says it assumes you're on your bike and not your cage on the highway!

Yip must agree with IanJ, interesting though that if you use it on a both a road and MTB surely it gives different values for a similar time and effort spent due to the much less distance on an MTB?

paulvs - I have only used Joe's but my boetie uses Stans. IMHO I think the Stan's 'strips' are better but having said that we have Joe's in 4 sets of wheels and it just keeps on going .......... and it is priced better! I see okes are now putting some 'OKO' or something juice in their tubeless, anyone have any experience with it ?

Dragson - the top Cane Creeks is what the Holy one is speaking of! I prefer those but couldn't afford the CC ones (not as well off as HR!) so got the 'knock off' RavX ones, also work. Of course Specialized have some really nice ones now ....... eeeerrrrrmmmm, how about a loan ???
