  1. I see they mention the more points for your mometum products will be awarded in the month of inception of the contract, I hope not. Now I tried to do the momentum and money app for my mother. She has a Samsung S4 mini, and that phone is not compatible with the apps, so I can't do that for her. What de hell!!!!
  2. Very irritated with the two apps that you have to run. Firstly I do not activate location services on my phone, now I have to and it buggers up my battery life. Regarding the money app, I have SERIOUS issues with my bank info safety. Now I have to enter all my banking details, including pin and password in this app. This is nonsense!
  3. Health is the easy part for me. Safety questionare comes up amber, no matter what I change the answers to for interest sake!
  4. I see I will have to get some motivation going to try and figure out these new multiply things for this year!
  5. Ghost 10’s. Ravenna is a light support, my wife has them as well. My third pair of ghosts now, her first. Loving mine
  6. Hopefully just the right motivation to get running again as I am doing NOTHING and my qualifying marathon is a month away. Dont even want to think about what the itb is going to do with the amounts I will have to throw at it this month.
  7. Since when is rain an excuse for running?
  8. Also in Hartenbos for a week, but I'm not sure how much running there is going to be as time is limited. What are the dates of those races? Soooooo gatvol that I won't be able to do the Groeneweide trail 12 on the 30/12..

  10. The problem is us mortals can enjoy the slab views of comrades. We would miss a lot of these views during the dark!
  11. Hectic! https://www.facebook.com/SkyrunZA/videos/947954945357104/?hc_ref=ARRRFKYwoaA1X0sAGWUY-uD5Mr4QQgU2_uUoGI-jly58ofVJUD7wj3w2paeGHEZVk-M
  12. There is something wrong with you.. Is this what Comrades do to people?
  13. Here is another simple one.. https://www.instagram.com/p/-CLSKsxe4K/?taken-by=yellowrunner
  14. I don't think the down is Caroline's stronger one, I think she is better on the up. But what do I know and hopefully I am wrong. Speaking of her, she is VERY quiet! I saw she had another injury mid year, hopefully she is over all of that!
  15. Although Caroline is my absolute favorite, I cannot see anybody beating Camille.
  16. I only have a marathon en of January and a 52 at the end of Feb (which is not the route I want to go 4 weeks from two oceans) to qualify next year, unless I want to drive kms to other qualification races around. BUT, I guess deep down I know I have to convince myself before Saturday to not go and do this race. And yes, ever since Comrades, running has NOT been enjoyable AT ALL! This currently, is not the no1 reason I started to put on running shoes for!
  17. I hear you guys... But if I do skip this and end up in the new year in the same situation, then I sit with the same damage that I might have next week, with two oceans and Comrades 2.5 months nearer?
  18. Yeah it is not so much only about qualifying now, but also about timing. I just don't see this issue disappearing and getting ready for a qualifier with that upped mileage in two months (end of Jan) and that's why I thought push it now and then just work towards two oceans (End march, two months more)
  19. Yeah Lexx, I'm looking forward to the day that I will be pissed about a 3:19 marathon! LOL Seriously congrats and well done to all you guys, some really nice work here... Now my final advice question and I guess it is going to take some serious warning to get me from my current crazy idea. Since my ITB came out again at the end of Sept I took serious steps back, so training wise I am not where I should be for this marathon, not at all!!!. That is one part of the problem and the smaller problem, I recon one can go far, even underprepared. The other problem is after doing nothing last week (apart from my damm itb exercises) I went for a 10km stroll on Saturday and from 4/5/6 - 10 the ITB was hell.... My thinking is, pitch up Saturday, qualify come hell or high water and hope I am still able to limp to the car afterwards. Then whenever I can walk again next week (even if it takes a cortisone injection I guess) I restart all my ITB rehab and exercises and only do the pissy runs as the physio want and stop whenever I feel the ITB. Then I have from lets say beginning December up until Two Oceans to sort it out (seeing that I could not sort it out from August this year) and hopefully I can get out of it, because I have my qualification now. I cannot see how I can sort this out now, and qualify end of January, without it popping its ugly head again during Dec/Jan when the mileage will be a lot to prep for marathons/comrades. What is the worst that can happen come this weekend with this crazy itb situation, apart from peeing in my pants the whole 40 kays?
