  1. Hold onto the Giant 26rs, all their 29ers are cracking and getting replaced on warranty. But only the frame, you must pay for the rebuild etc etc and so on and so forth...
  2. That linkage on Ellsworth bikes looks so 80's. Looks as tappit as the Golf 4...
  3. In the current economic climate, even prime is 'good'...
  4. Still, if it was your 1st home, its unlikely you would have gotten as good a deal. Your interest rate was probably far better too...
  5. Then you're not a 1st time buyer and have a relationship with the bank as an obvious 'good' client. ABSA is generally the bank that grants their own clients 95% bonds, but that's also dependant on a credit rating of 1.
  6. Not a chance... Not even 100% anymore. 90 if you're lucky.
  7. Depending on how much you'll be spending on a house, you'll require a minimum of a 10% deposit. Some bank's may give you a 95% bond, but as large a deposit as you can afford is always best. It brings your monthly repayments down.
  8. Then put in that offer and get the ball rolling.
  9. Let the agency get the bond for you. They'll probably send it to an originator. It's less hassle for you, and to be honest, that's part of what they're getting paid for.
  10. As long as you have 2 years' audited financials reflecting that you pay yourself a set salary, you'll be fine.
  11. Got my Missus a small S-Works men's frame and she's as happy as can be..
  12. Sorry, meant patches and super_mil.
  13. Saw nothing my ass... Was probably him who notified the thieves of the bike's arrival in the 1st place.
  14. Nice meeting hayleyearth n peach and co at Thaba on Sat.
  15. Luckily this thread isn't about shaving your balls. Sounds like a lot of okes are no longer in possession of theirs.
  16. It's still dark here at that time. Park opens at 7. Shop opens at 8. Try your luck. If you don't come right we're riding from Sharondale Garden Centre just a bit further up Swartkoppies road if you're driving/riding from Rietvlei towards Alberton. Meeting at 7.
  17. Not even a link to the online store...?
  18. Yeah that's fine. I've ridden a non compact 53/39 with an 11/23 and survived. The only hiking trails open are the day trails. Think max is a 14 or 16km. The overnight huts and trails have been closed for some time. To my knowledge there aren't any MTB trails, so if you saw MTBaaisikilists off the tar they were probably riding 'illegaly'...
  19. They do. The wife beater in JHB is what white linen pants and sandals are to Cape Town.
  20. Octagon, hexagon, pentagon, actually, put me in any geometric shape and I'll kill you...
  21. Heavens no...! There are too many of those in Eldron's hood already. And by shirt I hope you mean vest. I don't do sleeves...
  22. I don't own any clothing but TapOut...
  23. Yussis Zulma, how shweet is that crushafix...?!
  24. It's bang on like the army. Plenty of open manly nakedness while you shower with 20 other okes. I did the Race and by the time we got to the over night stops the porta-loo's were smelling ripe. As Clint says, you stand in Q's for everything, and get to dinner late or even on time and odds are you'll stand and eat. The numbers at 3 Towers are far less. There are 'normal' flushing toilets and showers.
  25. I wonder if Seyffert or any other locals got a fine with their bans...
