  1. I'm assuming you've tried pairing them properly with the garmin...? It should work. I use a Cycleops Powercal band with my 800 and they paired perfectly.
  2. Those things can really get dragged out... And if you read CSA's rules, once they've notified you of your adverse analytical finding, they reserve the right to issue a press release. They assume everybody knows the way the procedure works, so don't expect them to inform you of said press release prior to it being issued. Other than getting a chance to notify your family before they see it in the press, it doesn't really matter too much if you're ultimately found guilty, but if he does have a TUE or isn't found guilty of any wrong doing, the whole immediate press release to blacken your name before a hearing is a lot of BS. Will they issue any form of public apology if he's clean as quickly. I think not.
  3. NO NO NO SV...! That's about as ridiculous as banana or cream soda milk. Only the chocolate works. And the Steri Stumpy works only half as we'll as the Super M, if at all.
  4. Smarties too. The green ones help with colds n flu, the reds with aches n pains and the blues with erectile dysfunction.
  5. The gateway comment was a bit of tongue in cheek. Like Marijuana is often termed a gateway drug to 'harder' substances. The other highlighted part can be read up on here : http://buildingaleanbody.com/2011/09/creatine-ethyl-ester-vs-creatine-monohydrate-which-one-is-better/
  6. It basically aids in recovery. Replenishing what the body loses during exercise. If combined with/bonded to an ethyl ester, it can provide muscle 'pumps' whilst training, but that's of little benefit to cycling. Stop that nonsense OP, Creatine is a gateway PED...
  7. Ya, u must just train and live on bread n water. You must also hunt your own meat with a spear and your wife must gather veggies when she recover's from you clubbing her n dragging her to the cave by her hair. Also, try taking the creatine AFTER you ride, in your recovery shake, with a spoon of glutamine. If it's the powdered monohydrate, dissolve it in warm water and let it cool in the fridge over night. Your body will absorb it better than if u just chuck a spoon of powder/'crystals' in the shake.
  8. Don't just twist your foot. Lift your heel upwards and throw it outwards with a bit of oomph, all in one motion.
  9. F***ing BASTARDS...!!!!! What the hell is going on down there. Bikes are getting jacked or stolen out of garages almost daily. Makes me sick...! Check Gumtree and OLX etc and Pawn shops/Cash Converters/Crusaders in the area over the next few days. Hope u find it Meezo...
  10. Sorry for the hijack but who sells those rolls saddles locally...?
  11. Didn't think okes in PTA rode with shoes at all...
  12. Then have an issue with your SLR's and discover what monkeys the local agents are when it comes to any after sales service on Mavic wheels.
  13. Go for the one that doesn't crack at the seat/top tube junction...
  14. Wheels are made up of Mavic Open Pro SUP 36 hole rims in a sweet gunmetal colour, Classic Campy record track hubs and polished silver spokes. Put a set of 28c tyres on. from a distance they look a bit like deep section wheels, until I buy a set of actual deep sections.
  15. Titanium ITM Krystal Quill Stem Will just try polish this with some Autosol by hand.
  16. These parts are at Sheffield Electroplating to get chromed and/or polished. Bars are Cinelli Criterium bars. Chainwheel set is a Miche Pista item. Campy seatpost. All gonna be polished to a high gloss finish. The fork is made by a company called Faggin. That and the seatpost clamp are steel so will be chromed.
  17. Yeah the 1st coat I applied I left over night so it had dried by the morning. Scraped a layer off then re-applied the stripper and then pretty much wiped the rest of the paint off. The most work was getting every little speck of primer out of all the grooves in the welds. I wanted a super clean frame as I dunno if I want to spray it or have it anodized. I've decided on a colour, just need to choose which way to go. After an hour of scrubbing it with sugar soap and steel wool, and scraping the welds... It's a lot cleaner now than in this pic.
  18. So after watching Premium Rush on DSTV last month I decided I'd like to build a fixie. Maybe I'll do a Critical Mass or 2 on it, but I kinda had the idea of having it on my study wall, perhaps make a massive picture frame to hang it inside, like a piece of "art", but functional should I like to ride it. It's an unbranded ally track bike frame brought in and raced by Wendell Bole from Rietvlei/Thaba Trails/The Cycle Hub a few years back. It's not steel, so not a purist's cup of tea, but I have a whole bunch of old school parts that are going on it, with a few modern ally parts too. A bit of a retro ride I guess, mixing the class of classic Campy track parts with the weight saving of an ally frame, rims and crankset. Started off by stripping 6 layers of paint off with Removeall. Quite a lot of elbow grease required to get every last speck of paint off.
  19. U can put me on a Penny Farthing and I'll pretty much beat any1... I'm just that good...
  20. I think the stickers need to come off those rims so the Cannondale doesn't have obvious Giant parts on it.
  21. Let me know when you're keen n I'll gather some souf okes n we'll klap it...
  22. YUSSIS...!!!
  23. This is the best 27.5 vs 29r thread EVER...!!! Of the one hundred million...
  24. It can't be too hard to find a route, there's the R59 and a railway line to use as a guide. Once we know a way, the next time/s can be spent finding where all the lil off shoot single tracks take you.
