Is it just me or is traffic in Pretoria really really shyte lately? Had a NW star bus nearly take me out this morning, yes they are always chops but this was a little close for comfort. Last week saw me get too close to several cars, buses, trucks etc. Whilst traffic volume is drastically down (varsity being closed and all) people in general are driving worse and worse. I'm actually contemplating just not riding to work and back anymore

Hey that's me in the red shirt Was a lekker weekend, really enjoyed chilling. We only left after 5 yesterday afternoon, was second last people left in camp.
Not very technical. Mostly Jeep track, some loose rocks. Climbs aren't hectic, everything is rideable. Here's a pic of me last year. Couldn't resist when I saw the photographer
Lol ... it's a great race, great venue as well. Last year we had 50mm rain in the first hour .. not fun, but memorable. It's becoming a family tradition, going to Rust de Winter for the weekend (camping is R50/adult a night) as the last 'race' of the year. This year we'll all ride for a change.
Also going camping with the family at Rust de Winter ... pulling the kiddies trailer in the 12km ride with the boys riding their bmx's. Looks like rain again
Also looking forward to next year, as I really enjoyed this year (except Hakahana's graspolle lol) Sadly, the 'admin' side of things seems to be lacking - the website is barely updated with dates and times, but nothing else. Facebook and Twitter is also waaaayyyy too quiet for "The Biggest MTB Series ... In The World"
