This takes even more time and pain than getting it licensed.
  6. [emoji33] that’s a lot of money just to pour down your throat. Ouch!
  7. Sorry to hear, I really am. Let’s hope that you get some good news soon.
  8. A beer costs R32 these days? [emoji58]
  9. Over the River Liffey in “flood” with the autumn colours in the trees.
  10. That last 2kms with WvA and MVDP just marking each other out of the race was just painful to watch. If nobody wants to work with you then give it a go by yourself and maybe you’ll win rather than just watching others ride off and making sure you don’t win; surely a chance of winning is better than no chance of winning.
  11. Nah dude, that’s not what I saw in the last race, not to be this far back
  12. What happened for Nino to be so far behind?
  13. I’ll bet it’s been exceptionally busy and stressful. Enjoy the downtime.
  14. You don’t want to get too attached to any characters there hey [emoji1]
  15. Do any of you guys find that you have a significantly greater amount of sack chafing when on your IDT and what is the cause or solution? I have none when on the road, but am being eaten on the trainer.
  16. Indoors. In Ireland, eerrrr France / Italy.... with a South African

This is a touchy subject in the industry because some try and simulate it too much and actually put students and others at risk, but in theory you are right. Every bit of stress you can add will have a larger amount of error to even seasoned shooters, even just a timer at a sports match can make a fair bit of difference (another good reason to do sport shooting). And even after well simulated training you still never know how you will react (can even be different each time), that’s why you have to a)train yourself to react differently and b) be able to operate your blaster without even thinking so that your brain can focus on keeping you alive in other ways rather than being tied up with manipulations. There are tactical teams and f seasoned operators that still stop the vehicle around the corner and take a pee before going in, just in case [emoji1]. But by doing the training and participating etc you give yourself a better chance with each step, and that’s really what it’s about, improving your chances of survival.
  18. Taking away an award from another event because of something done wrong in this one is just silly. The premature celebration did make for some chuckles though.
  19. Not all of our bodies of course [emoji1787]
  20. Ah thanks. I don’t know if they’ve changed their minds but I remember some years back when I was still running that the sports science medical experts said that the human body really only has a handful of world class marathon performances in it, so he’s already on borrowed efforts.
  21. It looks like he’s having a bit of a french moment
  22. I’m quite shocked and disturbed at some of the things I’ve seen in the racing scene this year, from an organisation point of view I mean. Some shocker roads, no protection or warnings in places etc I’d have expected these to be standard practice. Edit: and not to forget the barriers
