  1. Nice are those the silverton one piece wheels?
  2. Went from Shimano XT to Cura. No contest best brakes i have used
  3. I also see this as an opportunity to try different things and see what works. Im bad at feeding on the bike and trying to make it a habit
  4. My reason for switching to something flavored. It helps
  5. Ive got recovery down. Dont really drink cooldrinks in general and choose to eat my calories and not drink them besides on the bike. A serving of oros in a sports bottle is about 30g carbs which as mentioned is more than enough.
  6. Hi ive recently started using squash mix(oros etc.) on my indoor trainer sessions. Ive found its helped with the workouts over just plain water and i dont feel completely knackered afterwards and can get on with my day. I normally use cadence/biogen on my outside rides and found the squash as a good(cheap) indoor alternative. Was just interested to hear if anyone else does this and what they use to feed on the dreaded indoor trainer
  7. Didnt know Nsquared was the distributor. Good to know
  8. Cool thanks called ECC they have stock

  14. Hi does anyone know of a walk in store in Cape Town where i could find the tether string attachment for my Wahoo Elemnt Bolt? Shipping going to double the cost for this small item
  15. Yes thats true. I looked a set of 2.25 schwalbes the other day on my friends bike, they looked like 2.1's
  16. Thanks for this. Was looking at rekon race. Maxxis tyres tend to be wider than the others.
  17. Hi was just wondering what size tyres pyga stage owners have been able to fit on their frames. I know spec sheet states 2.35. Im running 2.25's at the moment and it looks like there is alot of room left in the rear. Would like to try 2.4 if thats possible. However i know all tyres are different..
  18. Whats the max tyre width a pyga stage can take? Looking at rekon race 2.40

  20. Agree, had alloy nipples on my wheels, after one winter they just started popping of randomly. Switched to brass 2 years ago havent had an issue since. Wheels are only as good as the builder as well. Just my 2 cents
  21. So i got the assos Mille GT (S7 replacement) went for an 82km MTB ride. Great bib very comfy. Fit is amazing, got a medium and it fit like a glove. Very impressed so far. Tried on a Supremo. Very tight fit. Tried a medium and a large. Large was still to tight which means i would need a XL. Tried the assos and called it a day.
  22. So the giordana i wanted at evobikes they dont have in stock at the store, gets sent directly from distributor. The price has also gone up since Tuesday. I think im going to go with assos. I would much rather like to see the product and try it on than ordering online and going through the hassle of exchanging.
  23. Ive come to realise that investing in quality bibs is cheaper in the long run so decided to build up a good rotation.
