  1. maybe North cliff cycles can shed some light
  2. "Find IPhone" on iphone, works like a charm...........track my wifes shopping habits
  3. if it was mine, I would kindly ask you to go back (as you said you would love to go back) make him an offer of say a grand for the bike and then when you return it, would pay you a handsome reward.
  4. so now what? if you see it's yours, get a recce team together and go get it back!
  5. at least you get to miss out on going to work
  6. I only know of WindGuru, not sure if it will meet your needs though, but worth a look......I use it for jetski fishing
  7. was going to say the same
  8. spinning bike for sure all the hassle with an IDT (taking the bike on and off), plus the noise drives me crazy. I used my nice white Giant IDT twice, it now gathers dust in my garage somewhere.
  9. can you believe it, chops...I bet they dont stop at red lights
  10. maybe he is looking for accomodation, camaraderie and 3 meals a day in one of our nice prisons.
  11. yeah sorry, for some reason the hub was down for me yesterday....would not connect. Yes I agree fully on the, the law is the law, I just don't see what I said above happening.Maybe I keep going back to my childhood riding in my BMX "gang" I dont remember stopping at much......not saying it was right, I just loved the freedom of riding then and I have that same feeling when I ride now.
  12. can't wait to see that big group of riders all stopped at every red robot at 06h00 on the main road from Atlas to east rand mall.... & not a car in sight
  13. Nah, you seem way to intelligent for me
  14. Are'nt goverment schools back today?
  15. Painting cycle lanes would at least show some segregation, but our road infrastructure is not set up for this, plus our gov is so slack most of our existing roads lines are gone (worn away) Earn respect, I agree somewhat (groups taking up the road...happens in Benoni all the time!,etc does not help), but the way I see it the space on some of our roads is limited. I respect "certain" cyclists on the road, but at times it is really difficult to give a 1.5m gap, heck I'd like to give a 2m gap & I do when I can. Ride a bicycle for a month, yeah right, have you seen some of our politicians!!
  16. FYI dog licenses used to exist a while back
  17. My 2c on this is that motorists and cyclist can never "share" the same road, EVER, they are just 2 different animals. We need proper cycle lanes for roadies. This is why I went with a MTB (besides the fact that I love dirt under my wheels), I stay on the pavements and ride at organised venues.Training for the 94.7 was hectic on the road, together with my wife...it was not pleasant on the road at all. I will not be doing it again, I am strictly a MTB dude now, the risk is just to high on the road.
  18. Both, as prices should be compared and whomever has the better deal, should get your business. I am not into paying more for something for the sake of loyalty (which is maybe why "we" dont seem to stick together...another story)
  19. a reality though
  20. My sister & parents, drove past the scene at around 17h00 (coming back from the beach), and saw Burry on the ground & his mangled bike (they did not see the actual incident happen), my sister said it was terrible to see, a real tragedy.
  21. Yip agreed, sad but true. A good article.
  22. wowzers and here you were innocently asking/contemplating taking your bike, now after reading this you'll have to change the topic to "should I even be going on holiday"
  23. Not worth the risk, I vote no, besides there are plenty of other things to do.
  24. jeez whats happening here, crazy stuff.
