  1. Yup those wife things come in handy some days
  2. Hmm... 64-67 doesn't sound right... Are you sure your measurements are 100%? You not wearing baggy jeans or Eminem like clothing? Measure with your kit on. When I did mine it said I needed a 53/54, I now ride a 54cm Soloist and 52cm Cannondale, I'm 1.77. Lance was 1.78 and rode a 58cm Jason2008-02-21 05:20:34
  3. Check this out... http://www.competitivecyclist.com/za/CCY?PAGE=FIT_CALCULATOR_INTRO Should give you an indication of what size.
  4. How big are those GPS receivers!! These okes are trying to get their bike as light as possible and then you have the tour organisers attaching a A4 size receiver! Surely they could of come up with something smaller...

  6. Nope, used to do a bit of gym work, I feel that my cadence drops by about 5rpm maybe more. Wish I could swim, hate running. I do cross dress... Beckham style, wear a sarong on really really hot days, but only indoors! Thanks Michelle http://www.destinyslobster.com/unbifurcated/german_sarong.jpg
  7. widget, my dad has a boat and I must say, sometimes after a race I wish I was rather out on the dam fishing with him... Also politics and all the negativity based round cycling, it gets a bit much!
  8. Maybe the goodie bags are preventing them from entering... I say throw in some deep sections, power meters, carbon bits and whatver else and see those entries shoot up! However, they must still keep the race entry fees the same or even lower them. R100 for say the 94.7 and a nice goodie bag with a set of Aeolus 6.5's It's time CSA give back to the community!
  9. Very nice dude! One problem, why isn't the chain on the BIG blade
  10. Hmm... someone not long ago told me that you need to go full bore through them lights! Can't remember who, but is 80kph not fast enough? Still trying to think who told me that... Jason2008-02-18 02:51:26
  11. Well I would think that the cops could arrest you... But this means that all Metro Police cars will need to be fitted with bike racks... Expect another intrest rate hike soon
  12. Refer to Mud Dee's post and follow steps 1 to 4 Are you at least using shorts with a shammy in? Weird, I know knappy was also saying after yesterdays race that his a$$ can't get used to the Fizik.
  13. Congrats Craig! Enjoy the little one!
  14. Shoo... luckily it's no me. I only do that at 4am when it's safe to do so after I checked, ask Mampara. Question: How will the metro police fine these cyclists?
  15. quinton, how old is the saddle and how many km's have you done on it? I find that a new Fizik saddle takes about 2 weeks to wear in and after that it's snug.
  16. You chaps must come race up here in the North... That white line rule is non-existent! It's crazy... We have trucks, cars, busses, motorbikes, other cyclist not participating sometimes helicopters and even ships coming from the opposite direction and whoevers throwing the gutter doesn't give two sh*ts! Sometimes I feel like pulling out cause my balls start tingling and I fear the worst! I dunno, it's crazy. Riders should start getting race bans... You get caught you miss the next 2 or 3 or however many races and tough if it's SA's or whatever important race! It's either that or your life. I'm guilty but I don't have an option, I think. 21. 100% correct... Check it; https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=22360
  22. I've ridden with Shimano and a campy cassette and it sucked...Got a flat at last years Fast One and that was my only option at the time and I had to get a wheel quickly to try get back in the group. I've heard you can do it with no problem if everything is set 100% I guess. Maybe Mud Dee will have a word or two. He know's. He mixes SRAM/Shimano/Campy... Kinda like peas and carrots when you thro...nevermind. Jason2008-02-13 12:58:45
