  1. Ok so the Lyrik has 40mm offset/rake versus 46mm of the 66 FYI some guy put a list together in this thread http://forums.mtbr.com/shocks-suspension/standard-rake-offset-suspension-forks-736488.html
  2. AFAIK it has a greater offset than the Lyrik and most other forks for that matter. I'll check later where I think I read it and get back to you guys
  3. Saw that, was too scared to look further into it
  4. Trying to get hold of hellocolour He hasn't checked his PM for a few days, I know previously he wasn't getting notifications and I don't have any other details for him.
  5. The lower section of the seatpost. Not touching the frame
  6. You think they'll bring in any of the good stuff?
  7. To go further into it further, Enduro is actually the race setup, where there are Special Stages (predominantly downhill but not necessarily), which are timed, these are connected by liaison stages, which are not (though depending the race/organisers, each special stage may have a cutoff start time or a dedicated time the each competitor needs to start). AM bikes tend to lend themselves to this sort of format, but there's nothing stopping anyone setting an XCO style Enduro. The only thing the Enduro "might" share with Endurance races is the liaison, though one can get pretty tired giving it a good tonkl on the Special Stages, was starting to cramp in my left calf on Sunday towards the end.
  8. good to know, now to sort out one for my 27.0mm frame. Can you machine a 0.1mm off a shaft in the fancy lathe of yours? (There's enough meat on the shaft of my ICElift V8)
  9. The options are limited in this Gravity Dropper and/or the copies (ICElift V8, etc.) Thomson X-fusion There could be more, but not sure of them right now.
  10. Very true. Rolls fast and grips well, but the tightly spaced knobs get packed with mud
  11. Got the Beeline as it was on sale at closing down sale of the Cyclelab in Cape Town
  12. Currently running a WTB Vigilante 2.3 front and Beeline 2.2 rear
  13. NICE!!!
  14. I'm not sure, trial and error I guess
  15. I believe it's got to do with the circuitry that creates a PWM frequency to adjust the brightness of the light. This can have an effect on certain wireless tech
  16. So these puppies were waiting on my desk when I got back from leave VEE Rubber Fluid and Flow 650B x 2.4 Stuck them on the scale this morning Quite respectable weights IMO Flow = 757g Fluid = 737g

  18. Pity about the taper issue, this would have been good https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/97158-sr-suntour-epicon-29er-thru-axle-120mm-fork/
  19. FYI: you can put basically any MTB tube in any MTB tyre to get home.
  20. So I put them on my Trance for the Enduro yesterday, man they were GOOD, a bit sticky in the mud but otherwise great. Pics of the steed to follow later Also my Vee Rubber Fluid and Float tyre have arrived
  21. I think the same of my Trance 27.5 2 ☺
  22. Grant Usher, Hunter Cycling / single speed.Co.za
  23. Anti-theft intervention ;-)
  24. Sorry Leaving tomorrow if it makes you feel any better
  25. Fair enough, good response. I still stand by getting the wheels checked for build quality. Much more important than the actual components
