  16. Which Surly fork and how much?
  17. Also a Hout Bay local. I think the trail from Ruyteplaats to Longkloof as more of a Hike-a-bike than a fully rideable trail. But yes the biggest issue is getting through Orangekloof to the Nek. From the Nek take Bay Road (the pipe track you'll see coming down from the Nek), watch out for dogwalkers, this is not a place for Strava. You can already ride along Disa river from Blue Valley Road till Bethal Street, (Be careful though, sometimes there are undesirables along here, but Watchcon have installed CCTV cameras along here to curb this), where you either detour onto Valley Road or hout Bay Road till Victoria and follow the river again till Princess Street. Then Karbonkelberg,, from there I know there are some trails that can be used to connect to Rocket Road, etc.
  18. Where from and how much?
  19. My wife says I'm so good at fixings things.....because I keep breaking things
  20. Agreed, can someone find me something I cannot break? FYI, going to call you soon, I've bust my post again.
  21. In mixed use environments I agree, but in MTB specific singletrack especially with poor visibility (dense tree/fynbos growth etc.), etc. it's probably not a good idea, and not always possible to ring that bell.
  22. Trying get an idea of the circumstances, blind corners on singletrack or jeeptrack Have you been following the thread about trails runners at Tokai running up the DH track over the jumps etc.?
  23. Do you have your own insurance?
  24. Which area are you referring to? Where are you having a problem? I assume by mentioning hikers, dogs, etc. the OP is referring to singletrack or jeeptrack.
