  1. The chainring makes it look a bit strange
  2. I would possibly, if I could afford it right now
  3. umm, you don't just use the 26 tube. Trust me it works, I've also used a 29er tube in a 26er before (packed the wrong tube )
  4. Flowta

    29+

Weight wise they are not that bad The 120tpi version of the Dirt Wizard 26+ (airs up to same outer diameter as a decent 650B) comes in at 850g I've had "normal" 26" rubber that weighs more

    29+

The 29+ Surly Knard and Dirt Wizard are both 3.0
  6. https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/76473-56cm-track-bike-fixie-price-drop/ Has a nicer stem on there now
  7. Best Quote "...It's still just a mountain bike. It's a mountain bike with different wheelsizes. You can make shitty 29ers, you can make shitty 26ers, you can make shitty 27.5, you can also make good ones..."
  8. Love these guys attitudes
  9. Awesome, thanks. Just waiting for custom clearance on my tyres
  10. Cool, thanks Any sideways rolling?
  11. Tumbles, you got PM
  12. Didn't know they made a 31.4 post
  13. You'll need a shim, I have one for you if you need
  14. Likewise If you don't come right, give me a PM
  15. If we can clear the Bokkemanskloof/Blue valley hiking trail I can hike-a-bike into Tokai from home
  16. but to add, I've also never left a tube behind.
  17. Except in my case were I burped the tyre of and then managed to pinch flat my tube on the way down. I now, no longer have faith in Schwalbe tyres (yes I was possibly using the non-XYZ bla bla bla one ).
  18. There are 157mm hubs but there are also 150mm hubs (came before). Basically same situation as 135mm and 142mm hubs. 7mm difference in size of the endcaps I have 2 150mm hubs in my garage.
  19. You just have to get a new top cup, that's what I did with mine, headtube is standard. More difficult selling the OD2 fork.
  20. So using the same dropout thickness 148mm would result in 156mm. Still 1mm difference on each side
  21. 150mm is 150mm it's 1mm more on either side than 148mm
  22. They need to compare it to a 150mm hub?
  23. You need to post some pics. Don't know of anyone in SA getting the Trance 4. Plenty Trance 2s around. What price did you get it for?
  24. Think Pythagoras theorem If you increase the width of the bars it increases the overall length to which the force is applied thus increasing the moment for the same force. If you decrease the length of the stem it decreases the overall length to which the force is applied thus decreasing the moment for the same force. *one can go more into it and take the angle to which the force is applied as an additional factor.
