  1. I really hope you have a better 2021 Cois... your attitude and positivity is inspirational and I'm going to use it to remind myself and others that despite the curve balls life has thrown at us all this last year - we're here and we have a lot to be grateful for! Best we all make the most of what we can All the best Cois, and thank you
  2. Off topic may only be 2% of the traffic, but for me it's probably 90% of the magic... I also wouldn't read too much into this crazy year - people are on edge like never before and in some cases have a bit too much time on their hands. The Orange Man and Covid are also probably as divisive a set of topics as religion at the moment - so rightly chop them if required - but to sacrifice the many good spaces on here at the same time I believe would be foolish... I also wouldn't be surprised at all, if in the long term the loss of passion/personal interest from a sterile environment trickled down to affect the forum as a whole too - anybody can build a website, it's the users/community that make it an appealing home for us all to spend our precious spare time, buying and selling our goods, and pulling in many others to do the same... You've done an incredible job Matt, building this up, getting the balance right... there is a reason we all come here for sure, so on that note - if it ain't broke, don't 'fix' it
  3. I don't know the in's and out's there... but if he's such an issue, keep him away from the squad completely and remove any influence. On the other hand, I don't think he's become a bad footballer overnight, he was top ten in the world easily at a time - it's a managers job to get that player back. It might not be easy, it might not be fun, but it's why they are paid the big money. Top footballers these days are stupidly wealthy, they all have their baggage I am pretty sure - make it work though. If Harry Redknapp was still managing, he would have grabbed Ozil, pulled him into his team, made him feel loved, milked his talents and seen his side reap the rewards. And Ozil aside... what was Arteta's plan to create goals in this team? There doesn't seem to be one from where I am standing.
  4. Leicester did hit the post a few times as well, but yeah, for sure... you win some, you lose some, that's why it's called betting. I've done very well the last year though. About R30k in the positive from a net R1500 investment. It goes the other way often enough too... (see below) If you watched this last game, Redbull beat Atletico with a deflected shot in the 88th minute... and even scarier, I didn't want the draw before the game even at a R6k win, an Atletico win was worth far more to me from other spreads that had rolled on.
  5. Also wasn't complaining about the questionable penalty... got this, plus all the 5 fold bets under it. R100 magically turned into R3000 I haven't bet in weeks because the results have just been so crazy, but I'd hoped the fans coming back would bring a bit more normality...
  6. Dullest Arsenal team I can ever recall... barely a creative player on the pitch. And I watched George Graham teams... Makes great watching though as a Spurs fan Arteta started well, but there is zero balance to the squad and the potent strikers get nothing to work with... and Mesut Ozil doesn't have a squad number
  7. Brilliant offering that is much needed... and great that it is all in house. Well done
  8. The last ‘full’ish’ rack...
  9. Okay, going to eat my words a little here... very thin on the L-XL. Been cleared out a bit this morning already. A lot of the stock is XS-M and 3-5XL in Mens. Ladies, there are far more options and far better size curves... anyone of the female persuasion will have an absolute field day. Our main stock challenge has been capacity to make any, we mothballed as much of our factory as we could during the lockdowns to keep costs as low as possible to ride things out, and now that things are opening up again, we're so busy with custom work we haven't had the chance to replenish our stock ranges. We have added 3-4 new items just recently, but most of them have been cleared out already as well. We already have quite a few items in production and we're planning for next year now, but in all honesty we're not going to have a lot of new stock this year as we simply don't have production gaps - good for us of course, but not good for our shop clients... the first week of any year is quieter, so we should be able to prep quite a bit of stock then... but that's only hitting the shelves at the start of Feb basically. Sorry for the hijack
  10. We're loading quite a lot more online today/tomorrow. I will also just pop down to the shop now as I'm pretty sure there are quite a few in that size range on the racks now...
  11. Haha... they are certainly not a thing in my view, but at that price they might just make a come back
  12. If you guys need kit, we've got some stupid cheap Black Friday deals at our Anatomic Joburg Factory Outlet... and if you're lucky enough to be an XS, then there is a whole big rack of tops for just R99 We're also already loading items to www.weardirect.co.za, so keep an eye on there... Lots of kit for up to 75% off
  13. Can you imagine Newsroom ploughing through the recent American political scene! The world has missed a trick here
  14. A few others pretty high up on my list... The Following, Boardwalk Empire and Outlander
  15. The absolutely must watch list... not being all that sure how far your backlog is: Breaking Bad (If you need convincing, go read Anthony Hopkins fan mail on it: https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2013/10/anthony-hopkins-breaking-bad-fan-letter) Peaky Blinders (as mentioned by many others - top drawer) Suits (first 3-4 seasons are brilliant, then it drops off a bit) Big Bang Theory (light easy anytime viewing) True Detective Season 1 (heavy, and a slow, but an absolute masterpiece) Mindhunter (have only watched season 1, it was top drawer) Stranger Things (maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I really enjoyed it - nice original piece) Newsroom (brilliant and thought provoking, it's a crime against humanity this series didn't continue) Mentalist (another older series, but just brilliant in my books) Good luck on the catch up, also having young kids I'm always behind on my telly, so really do research and put a premium on what I watch... there is a fair bit of rubbish out there, but plenty of quality as well
  16. The Newcastle last minute penalty was also highly questionable... I also wasn't a Jose fan by the longest of shots, but results speak. He's also been well backed by the board to build as impressive a squad as we've probably ever had... depth everywhere and options to change games. Gareth Bale didn't even get a kick yesterday and Dele Ali is going to have to pull his head out his arse to even get a look in again. City not what they were, relying far too much on De Bruyne and Sterling of late Going to be a very interesting season, still very early days of course, but really not a lot in it!
  17. I think a lot of it is down to the bigger teams being in Europe and having an insane fixture list... the lower teams, and there are no easy teams in the Prem, play once a week, prep properly and come in flying and fresh. We're 8 games into the season and the players are looking knackered and the injury counts are rising... Going to be a very interesting season
  18. You can give all the credit to Spurs for the lekker big wake up call we gave you... Always glad when Southampton do well, hope you can keep it up, keep Ings injury free and hold on to your best players so you can build a bit more. Ward Prowse also having a cracking season
  19. Yeah, he's not match fit yet, but there's no doubt he's a seriously class act... A front three of him, Kane and Son must be right up there with the very best in the world. Hope we get to see a lot of that this season and the world get's to enjoy him back at his best.
  20. And Football has probably 20 times the budgets of those sports... There are actually no excuses, it's pretty pathetic
  21. That Ref/VAR combo in the Spurs game for the Brighton goal to be allowed, definitely asks a lot of questions... It's about as clear a foul as you will ever see! I could actually live with it as I think they should have had a penalty earlier frankly, but at least it ended well with Bale popping up for the winner. Finding it crazy how with VAR we're almost no better off. Some crazy decisions almost every week... they're going to have to take some serious stock and rectify things quickly
